The single rider line

Yeah no idea. Like I said we knew before hand we'd be separated but then sent is to the same line. Who knows lol
That happens and that is just luck. Intentionally using a single line thinking that they can con their way in together, is a different scenario completely. Why must people always attempt to beat the system. All that does is screw it up for everyone else and themselves eventually.

Last weekend we were in Disneyland and wanted to ride Indy... We saw there was a single rider line, there were 3 of us and we had every intention of riding separately. We were ok with it... But they give you a "hall pass" ticket that you take from the single rider line and have to have that all the way up till you board. The lines are kept separately and it worked very well. One of us boarded one car, and the other two were put in sep rows on another car. But we had a great time!

We do single rider for Test Track but don't expect to sit together (though, sometimes I've seen a group of two get to sit together from the single rider line). But really, when you're on a ride, it doesn't matter so much if you sit with random people, especially in Disney, everyone is there to have a good time so it's hard to really get a notably bad group of people to sit with. Though, I do agree, some people try to take advantage of the line, but really, that's with everything in life.

I have done single rider many times at WDW and DL both by myself and with my teenage daughter. When with my daughter, we never expect to ride together, although that happened once on RnRc. Happy to stand in line together and talk after riding separately....
