The simpsons ride soft opening

Not a big problem to make a new thread, I just thought it was funny that the answers you sought were just above you a minute ago. :lol:


The ride opened around 11:30 this morning, and it is definitely a top tier attraction as far as I'm concerned. It offers a lot of great humor, especially for theme park fans, and they haven't toned down the usual Simpsons humor at all.

Cool, I have to wait until next year until I ride it:mad: It's not fair, but im glad that its a good ride

There were a ton of brits sitting out in front of the attraction with me for the 2 1/2 hours before it finally opened, which I thought was interesting. Obviously they were hell bent on getting a chance to ride before going back home, but usually for these things it's just the local theme park losers that are willing to wait that long.

I'd wait that long to ride it

haha, i'm devastated that I have to wait another year or so to ride it

I was back there today and it's once again open for rehearsals. I had to wait in a bit of a line today, so I actually got to watch the majority of the video in the queue and it was great. Definitely does a nice job keeping guests entertained and the BTTF stuff is great.

What specific BTTF references are there? I watched both preshow vids and the ride footage, and couldn't pick them out.

I have 2 questions that I hope someone can answer: Is The Simpsons ride open full-time now or just for periodical beta testing ; and is it about to become a fast pass attraction-as I'll predict that the summer will see mega large queues

Still in testing. Universal doesn't have fast passes. It does however use Express Passes, which must be purchased.

I meant to say express plus !
I'm staying until May 13 and hoping to ride The simpsons, but if it opens in time I think the queues will be massive
