The simpsons expansion

It's beer in the show. I don't see why it wouldn't be beer in real life. Grant it, technically Butterbeer is supposed to be alcoholic but due to the target audience, it is not in real life.

Let's be honest here though, the Simpsons jumped the shark years ago. The target audience for something like this is definitely more for people who remember the show back in its heyday with fondness, who grew up with it, and are likely well beyond the legal drinking age at this point. I highly doubt the show is picking up new viewers in the young adult demographic these days. Family Guy and American Dad have that market cornered.

Agreed. The Simpsons is no longer relevant in todays culture ... but it's still looked upon fondly by adults.

The Simpsons is still very relevant in today's culture, just not so much the newer episodes.

Popular does not equal relevant. For god's sake "Embiggen" is in the oxford dictionary now and that was a made up word specifically for The Simpsons.

Nothing released by Uni, but insiders have still been sticking with a June 20th opening. Would be impressive considering the waterfront and flatride still have a long ways to go.

That would be awesome. We arrive July 3. My boys (6 years old) are just now getting into The Simpsons.

If we do end up skipping Disneyland next year for Orlando, it's gonna be because of Universal. They are going insane over there!!!!

Traveling carnivals bring flat rides with them. They're not the biggest challenge, especially for the park that just threw up Transformers: The Ride-3D in a year.

The Simpsons is still fairly popular - averages around 4-7million viewers for new episodes, and is FOX's third biggest scripted show in the 18-49 demographic for new episodes, which is important to advertisers.

Now why'd you have to go and bring FACTS into this?

Anyway, Duff will be real beer. And to say the Simpsons isn't relevant is like saying people are going to forget about Harry Potter. Simpsons have been around for almost 30 years. They're fairly engrained in the US public consciousness and are some of the most recognizable American characters abroad.
