Does disney own New Line? I always loose trackof what they own...I'm pretty sure they have dimension films, miramax, anmd I KNOW they have Touchstone...But what else?[/qoute]

Disney owns all the ones you listed plus Hollywood Pictures, and Beuna Vista Productions but that is just TV & Music.

Disney created Buena Vista distrubition to distribute Disney films since I can remember. In the 80s they created Touchstone as a way to make PG-PG13 rated films as to not take away from the Disney brand of wholesum family entertainment. Also the same for the Hollywood Pictures labele for some R rated faire. They also have a Hollywood records labele I belive Buena Vista also does the distrubition for these Studios as well

as to Demension and miramax Labele these were bought by disney to expand the filmed entertainment division,

Devil's Playground

Thanks for the compliment, Mouse. I aim to please.
Anyway, here's the next land. Devil's Playground is by far the most intense land here, with a theme of demons, hell, death, and the macabre. Many rides will not have happy endings and may be more than a little unsettling. Some will require riders to be over a certain age to ride. The look of the land will not be the traditional fire and brimstone hell, but will rather be very grey and desolate. You get creeped out just looking around. There are no mascots here and parents should just keep little kids out. However, every teen who goes to WDW will make this their first stop. There are 4 attractions here: The Inferno, Brimstone, Island of the Damned, and The Lost House. The first three are rides, the last is a whole new breed of attraction.

THE INFERNO:
This is a water-based dark ride that is, quite simply, a trip into hell. Dante's horiffic vision comes to life here and you are along for the ride. Your boat is guided by an audio-animatronic Grim Reaper as you witness the horrors that await. There are several dips to liven it up and the scenes of human suffering are majorly toned down, but what remains is enough. This ride will feature a huge number of AA demons of every shape. One of many reasons this ride is thirteen and up

BRIMSTONE:
This is the park's most intense coaster. It's a mine train, that makes an unfortunate detour into the portal to the underworld. Taking place indoors, the ride takes place mostly in darkness, with enough light to see the visual effects of flames and holo-demons around you. Here, unlike in the inferno, the thrill comes from motion, as this is wilder than the R&R

ISLAND OF THE DAMNED:
This is a CTX ride that takes you on a cursed island in search of three teenagers who disappeared. Your jeep traverses haunted woods, a lakefront with more than fishes under the surface, a house with many unpleasant surprises, including the cat from hell, and a basement where you learn the mystery of the island.
And then you find the teenagers............
Lets just say this ride is 13 and up

THE LOST HOUSE:
As I said this is a new breed of attraction. Imagine a laser tag game with Audio animatronics that fight back. You enter a walk through haunted house with a laser gun and a protective vest that doubles as a hit register. Along the way, you encounter AAs that actually fight back, diving, shooting, leaping at you. some of this tech may be a few years off, but It should be available by the time this was built. After fighting through the entire house, and some truly vicious enemies (Don't worry, you have protective gear) you get a score based on how many you killed Vs how many hits you took. High scorers get cool prizes. With the protective gear, some of these creatures will get vicious. This attraction is for 13 and up

I hope everyone continues to like my ideas, and I'll be back tomorrow with The Midway:fork:

THE MIDWAY

Hi again. Here's the next land. The midway is smaller than most of the others and has less attractions, but has a majorly creepy theme. This is a haunted carnival, complete with demonic clowns, creepy looking versions of carnival rides, and two major league thrill rides: MIRRORWORLD and THE FUNHOUSE

MIRRORWORLD
This is a spinning dark ride through a haunted mirror maze. The ride itself isn't wild, but a new technology turns this into one of the most unsettling rides in the park. When you enter the maze, your picture is taken. A computer then alters your picture, so when you see it in the mirror, it is changed in unsettling ways. You'll be aged 50 years, you'll see an arrow through your head, etc. Later in the ride you'll see a mysterious phantom sneaking up behind you with an ax. It's never there, of course, but reflections can be decieving...... This is another theater of the mind attraction, that I think is very cool

THE FUNHOUSE:
This starts out as a campy haunted house dark ride like you find at your local carnival. Bad effects, cardboard cut-outs,etc. But just as you approach the exit, the floor opens up and you fall below the track into a hellish roller coaster ride with killer clowns, phantoms, laughing skeletons, and the killer from "Scream". This ride is scary, but it's more a funny scare than the unsettling rides of Devil's Playground. If kids can take some scares, they should love this one. Any one with a clown phobia, however, should stay far away.

Everything here is themed to the haunted carnival theme, even the food. After I post the last few lands, I'll post detailed descriptions of all the restaurants in the park. All goes well, I'll be back tomorrow with Future Shock:fork:

I like the general idea of a darker themed park but it seems a litle too twisted for anything Disney would do. Dark, scary and creepy themes and attractions are all perfectly fine, but disturbing and "unsetteling" rides are not something that would fly at Disney or really any other coprate themepark. Also not every ride in the park needs to be some fantastic new technoogy or some highspeed next generation coaster, diversity and themeing are what make a themepark.

I like the idea of Disney doing a darker park that would cater to the 12 and up crowd while still offering some entertainment for the 6-12 crowd, however some of the things you have proposed so far IMHO would be too "unsetteling" for any park and certaintly for a Disney park.

I think he knows that Diseny or any other theme park around the world would build the second part of the park. But the first part of the park would be built as park.:king:

FUTURE SHOCK

Yes, I do know that this park will never be built. I sort of said so in the first post, so I'm just letting my imagination go wild. However, I am VERY glad to finally be getting some feedback, so keep it coming and thanks!
Any way here's the next land, Future Shock. This is a dystopian future based on the concept that the Y2K bug actually hit in 3000, making 30th century tech go haywire. The place looks like Tomorrowland after a really bad blown fuse-sparks everywhere, robots in the streets, and flickering lights. This land has 3 attractions: Y3K, www.evil.com/ride, (Do not click on this. It's just a name)and HORIZONS. They are all rides, but a wide variety.

Y3K:
Every land in this park has at least one E-ticket, and this is it. A high-intensity roller coaster, this is a "monorail" that passes througha futuristic city on new years as the ball drops. as it hits, the year flashes "2000", and your train goes haywire, speeding off on a warped version of the track as tech goes haywire all around you. The ride is on the level of theR&R, but the visual effects really make this an intense ride. Not too scary for older kids who can handle a wild coaster.

This is a simulator ride through a computer mainframe, a la star tours, but with a twist. Terrorists have unleashed a sentient computer virus into the worlds computer mainframe, and it's threatening to devastate the worlds tech. riders play the role of a crack team of cyber commandos, and the ride is interactive. Yuo have laser guns by your seat, and you have to shoot the viruses that appear on screen. The ride takes as long as you can survive, and your ending is different based on whether you beat the head virus or not. This is a video game combined with a ride, and should be the number one draw in the park for older kids.

HORIZONS:
This is my homage to one of the greatest theme park rides ever. A recreation of the nostalgic future ride from epcot, the ride changes near the end as you're treated to comical scenes of tech going haywire for the poor residents of the future. There's no real violence here, just some comical danger. This is probably the most lighthearted ride inthe park, and if we can't have the real thing, this'll have to do.

Again, hope you like it and keep the feedback coming, I'll be back tomorrow with the final land, Past Endurance.:goodnevil

It won't just be disney villains, but will also include Nightmare before christmas themed attractions and a general theme of horror and the macabre. In fact, it may be just a little un-disneyan at times. Disney will probably never make something like this ,but I think a park like this could become a huge draw for teenagers and help get back this market from universal. There'll be an emphasis on E-ticket rides and adrenaline, but there WON'T be six flags style unthemed roller coasters. The current structure will be somewhat Epcot style, with an hourglass shape, divided between a disney half and a more menacing:eek: half with a distinctly older vibe. I'll post the whole thing soon with attraction descriptions, layout, the whole shebang. Feedback?:fork: :fork: :fork: :fork:
LOL! forgive me if I`m wrong, but isn`t Nightmare before christmas a Disney movie?

PAST ENDURANCE

okay, here's the post where it should be. Thanks to everyone for the responses. I changed the tech terrorists to blackmailers. Now they just want money, so no unpleasant connotations. Anyway, heres the final land of the park. This one is themed to adventure and danger from the past, and is probably the most disney-like area in the park. There are three attractions here, all rides. The land is anchored by 3 giant buildings, each housing an attraction. They are: Nine Worlds:The Journey to Valhallah, Indiana Jones and the hunt for Quetzelcoatl, and The Time Machine

NINE WORLDS: THE JOURNEY TO VALHALLAH:
A few months ago, someone on this board posted what may be the most brilliant attraction idea I have ever seen. It was a viking themed CTX ride through a giant mystical tree. I kept this ride essentially intact, except for a few changes to the ending. I dont know who came up with this, so if you postd the idea for this ride, please post here and give me permission to use it here Again, GREAT ride.

INDIANA JONES AND THE HUNT FOR QUETZELCOATL:
Isn't it time that Indy had his own ride in WDW? This is an original storyline I developed that takes place inside a huge mayan temple. You are touring the temple in aCTX jeep while Indy searches for an ancient treasure called the eye of Quetzelcoatl, the ancient Mayan serpent god. Unfortunately, stealing the eye awakens the serpent, and you and Indy are off on a wild, fast paced ride through the temple as the serpent hunts your jeep. This ride will be a lot like the disneyland one, only with a giant AA snake.

THE TIME MACHINE:
This is a ride based on the spiderman Tech (thanks CEO!) based on what may be the greatest sci-fi story ever written. This is based on the original book, so there's no copyright problems with the Dreamworks movie. You board 6 person time machines and get sent through time, shooting from the big bang, to the age of the dinosaurs, to a roman chariot race, to a world war two battlefield, narrowly avoiding danger each time. Then you get sent to the future, where you encounter the morlocks and Eloi, before making an unscheduled stop at the end of the world. The ride is less wild than a lot that I've posted here, but should still pack a good deal of adrenaline thanks to the 3D effects and the bumpy ride.

So thats the whole park. I hope everyone likes it and I'll be back tomorrow with the restaurants. More reviews please!

To be perfectly honest I think this is a terrible idea. While I can understand maybe putting a small Villains-themed land in a park, but a whole park based on evil and the macabre is just too much. Doesn't seem kid-friendly enough to be a Disney park, and especially the Devil's Playground area seems unappealing in it's theme and too dark for Disney. Sorry, but that's just my oppinion.

Scar's pit

Okay, here's the first restaurant. I take food very seriously, so I'll be posting the full-service restaurants one at a time with full menus. When I'm done with each land, I'll post the fast food and snack places.
This is the first restaurant in Villains kingdom. It is in a huge cavernous dining room themed to the lair fom "Be Prepared" The food here is all you can eat meat in the brazillian rodizio style, where skewers of grilled meat are brought to your table. Although the Audio Animatronic Hyenas look hungry too, you'll get the lion's share of the food. $30 a person for all you can eat.

Side orders: Fried bananas, baked potatoes, baked yams, greens.

Meats: Ribeye, flank steak, prime rib, pork tenderloin, ham, chicken, bacon wrapped turkey, leg of lamb, buffalo, venison, leg of zebra (Scar's special), jumbo shrimp, swordfish, salmon, tuna, beef and pork ribs

Desserts: A la carte american selection. $5-7

Scar's Pit sounds cool

Reflecting on your earlier posts about Villiam Kingdom, I really like this area alot, and I think it has some undeveloped potential. It seems like you really put alot more effort into the Nightmare Hollow area. I think it would be really cool if you could expand the Villians Kingdom alot more.

The world of Disney Villains is a very wide world and I think alot more could be done with this area.

I gotta agree with Meeko, while the ideas themselves are very imaginative...This idea is down right twisted...Hell? In Disney? Who wants to be scared CONSTANTLY? This would appeal to such a small demographic, that it wouldn't even come close to justifying the cost of it...Though I know you've already stated that you know it won't be built, or even be consider to be built..
You have great talent, but I would never want to see something like this...too much evil, not enough warmth. Most people are trying to take a VACATION from the evils of the world, not revisit them in a more vivid and tangible experience.

Jafar's

I actually am planning to repost Bald Mounatain and Halloweentown with more detail soon. I hope to get some more detailed descriptions of the rides in. As for the restaurants, the next one on the list is Jafar's, a high end Middle Eastern Restaurant themed to Jafar's palace after he dethroned the Sultan. There are belly dancers, magic acts and an audio-animatronic Iago for entertainment. I've decided not to bore you with the menus unless I have some really interesting ideas. the food here is similar to Marrakesh, but with elements of Turkish, Persian,Israeli, and Lebanese cuisine. Appetizers are $8 to 15
Entrees are $16 to $30 for a sampler platter. Deserts are authentic and go for $5 to 7.
