Hey!
I was wondering what you all think about the Rock'n Roller Coaster? I rode it the first time and I have been an Aerosmith fan ever since! That ride is awsome! I was just wondering what you guyz think about it and if you could, what would you change about it??

I LOVE the RnRC, but.. the only thing i would have changed about it is..
They need to either make an announcement or put up a sign that alerts you to tuck away small articles like glasses. I know that you're just gonna say, "I think thats a given", but.. my little sister forgot to, and hers ended up falling off her face on the first giant loop. Thank Goodness they ended up falling in the floor of the car, but.. you never know..

Otherwise.. Even though it has no meaning at all except the quench the thirst of thrill seekers at WDW.. I LOVE IT!!!:D

They need to slow that sucker down and take out all of the inversions! :hurl: :D

I'm not big on coasters that have inversions. :(

RnR is a great ride! Most people dont like it (especially ACE members) but i love it!!! the theming, the launch, and the inversions in the dark are great, Theres alot of secrets to this ride, and its just fun.... After the first two loops its allitle tame but still great, I think if i could change a few things, like dont trim it on the break runs (even if its intense on the baroll roll) and make the turns a tad bit steeper... People seem to like the Premier LIM bowls better, so lets hope if they make another one make it a Premier LIM! Best Coaster for Disney..... lets hope the next one isn't Vekoma for a change =)

:hammer:

RnRC is an absolute hoot! The best part is taking people on the ride who've never been on it before! I laugh my fool head off every time I'm on this ride as well as ToT. It's the *best* way to start your day!

Hmmmm, I'm surprised to hear this. I heard that since this is a positive-g ride, that nothing would fall out (someone correct me if this is wrong--I think with negative-g's is when things will fly out). I've ridden it with glasses on and they never came close to falling off. Anyway, it's a great ride and I agree with Turkey Leg Boy--it needs to be longer.

We must be the only ace members that agree that RnRc is amazing, To the others, Its just an "ordinary slow vekoma coaster that only goes "50mph" and Kings Island does better ;-)"

Taking RnRC as a pure thrill ride, it's not that bad, although when I went on it during my second trip when it was open, it seemed to bang my head around more than it did when I first when on it closer to when it first opened... It has adequate theming, a good story, and is a really great, smooth coaster... I like it...

I will quote myself. "Rock N Roller Coaster is the best themed rollercoaster in the world!" It is not the tallest, fastest, longest, steepest, or does it have the most inversions. However, it is the only coaster I know of that as soon as it ends, I am ready to go right back on and it never makes me feel like I have to regurgitate my lunch.:hurl:

We've all ridden bigger, faster coasters with more fancy loops, etc but none with the finesse of RnR. Sight, sound, inner ear. It gets the job done best -- by far.

RNRC is like one of the best rides, i remember the first time i rode it, i was amazed it was like nothin i had been on before, i wouldn't want to change much cause i think it's fine but i feel that everytime i ride it, it feels shorter and shorter, and i wish it could have been a little bit longer but i guess thats out of the question but i would probly only want it to be longer and maybe have another inversion

My coaster total stands at around 50 or so, and I can honestly say that RnRC is in my top 5. Great themeing, incredible audio, and a fast, smooth ride.
As for the Premier bowls, I hate them. Flight of Fear (Pain) is perhaps my least favorite of all coasters. RnRC eats it's lunch.

I love the Rock and Roll coaster. It is the best. I could do the take off over and over. It is my favorite rollercoaster.

If I could change anything I would make it longer and add another blast off. My 67 year old mom loves it too.

I hae heard and seen for myself he genius of this coaster. I had a lrge bag with me the 1st time I ode it, and was rather apprehensive. The warning just says to put your items on the floor. Well, of course I held them, bu hy, they did not budge. Now I dont worry about items flying out, becuase they just dnt budge. I am sure that A) they would not create a ride that would dump a guests items (then people would wait to buy) B) if it did dump items, they would say hold on tiight to your articles. Just a great design, never ceases to amaze me.

Gotta agree with this!! View from the front seat is absolutely awesome!!! And you really get to feel the "wind" rushing against your face.

RnRC is just the ultimate themed coaster. Great ride and so very smooth!!!

Only problem is the ride's too short. Its over before you know it.

I would say the ride is only short because it has a LIM launch, and most LIM coasters are short, but Disney kind of proves this wrong, as California Screamin' has a LIM launch, as well, and it is still quite a long ride...although it is 6072 feet long (6th longest steel coaster in the world; LONGEST LIM coaster in the world)...still, this ride could have been longer, it's just the fact that they wanted to enclose it. It's very tough to enclose a BIG coaster (not to mention expensive). So as far as enclosed LIM coasters go (not too many of them, but regardless...) it's a long ride:) Just to give you an idea of typical LIM coaster lengths, for comparison, here are the top 10 in the world
1. California Screamin 6072 feet
2. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster(both) 3403 feet
3. Superman the Ride (in Holland) 3280 feet
4. Volcano-The Blast Coaster 2757 feet
5. Flight of Fear and its clones 2705 feet
6. Speed 1361 feet
7. Mr. Freeze (both) 1300 feet
8. Superman the Escape 1235 feet
9 and 10. Batman and Robin: The Chiller--one track is 1229 feet, and the other is 1137

So, you can see that within reason, Disney has long LIM coasters (top two spots in the world...not too shabby)
