Trip Report THE RETURN OF OPENING DAY PHOTOS NEW AND IMPROVED

It has been a long delay but I am pleased to report that my opening day at WDW 10/01/1971 trip report has been revised and is ready to view. My son, Nick, made major improvements on the pictures and we have presented the project to Keith Mahne at Disney Avenue. There are 192 images from opening day so the easiest way for me to provide a view for this site is to provide a link. I hope you enjoy their return. The project needs a little fine tuning but overall it looks good.

I'll look at it more this weekend when I have more time. From what I just briefly saw, however, really nice job!! Can't wait to see it all!!! :)

YAY! So glad they're back. When I was watching the footage of Disneyland's absolutely chaotic opening day on the American Experience documentary, I couldn't help but remember your photos from WDW and how much less crowded it was there. Kind of crazy how different the openings were.

Yes, I did too. The ladies were sinking in the asphalt with their heels cause it wasn't set!
