The Return of Figment and Dreamfinder

So I happened to come across a few pictures from D23 or Destination D (can't remember which) that showed Dreamfinder on stage with Figment.

What I would like to know is, does this mean he's coming back or was this just a teaser?

I would love to see them out and about in the parks again. They made the Imagination area way more interesting.

As much as I would love for Dreamfinder to return by Figment's side again,it's probably not going to happen for a while.I have a habit of watching the old Imageworks or the walk-around Dreamfinder in the park on Youtube; wishing I would of experienced it.

I would say that was more of a teaser or possibly even a curtain call for the Dreamfinder character for now. I too would love to see them both return to the park and attraction, but there's no indication of if or when that will happen. Having said that, who would've ever thought Captain EO or the Tiki Room could return? Never say never!

Doubtful that means anything. The event with Dreamfinder walking out onstage was put on by D23 - a completely separate division of the company than Parks and Resorts, which will ultimately be responsible for a new Imagination ride.

It is nice to see Disney acknowledging that Dreamfinder means something, though.

Am I the only one who hoped that this would be the big announcement? The refurb/complete overhaul of Imagination bringing back Dreamfinder?

I wish the money that's going to be spend on Avatar in AK could be spent to fix this mistake and the empty WoL building.

There are so many other uses for that money...things that are long overdue.

But the money being spent on AVATAR is for something that is long overdue...

Hopefully after they refurb Test Track, Imagination will be the next thing in EPCOT to get some attention!
