When I was in High School, I worked part time as a Janitor after school. I got yelled at once because White Collar employees were putting pennies under their DESKS to make sure their floors were swept every night and I missed a few.

After that...instead of sweeping, I just walked around and picked up PENNIES and everyone was happy....I got spare change, and the Power hungry White Collar Boys and Girls thought they had their wishes fufilled. :animwink: :lol:

My family and I frequent the great World of Disney every Easter, and have left many pennies on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. We have never found one of them even though we forget where we leave a lot of them.

It still is Very FUN

I was at Epcot yesterday and got three pennies back after I bought the mint chip waffle cone at the African Outpost. I did not have any pockets in the shorts I was wearing so I hide the pennies over by the Living Seas under some mulch, I will check probably tommorow if they are still there. I once hide a penny near the entrance of the Haunted Mansion and could not find it later but was sure exactly where I hide it.

Is there any place in particular I should try to hide the penny? I think its a cool idea and I am going to try it when I go in April!

Well..its your call..dont hide it TOO well (dont bury it) or else obviously..they wont find it...

But I hid it on the TOP of the Tattoine gift shop at MGM (Had to jump and climb on the ledge)...and it wasnt there the next day..

In our younger days my Husband would leave a coin on every gate post he had to walk past to get from the Bus Stop to my house. On his way home a couple of hours later he would see how many he could pick back up. He always thought this was extremely funny and I thought he was slightly mad, after reading all these posts Maybe I'll change my mind, after all he's in good company:animwink:

And when the person would get there they would say they lost it. Why spend money on a rubber band when you can have someone else's...It's the Disney Philosophy (as I was told by someone at the excecutive offices).

After I read this post I tried leaving a penny at Universal. A week later, it was still there in the same spot. Today, I'm going to see if it wilol be there for another week.

Well, it turns out the penny is still in the same spot, and that makes it 2 weeks. Kind of wierd that no one found it. It's sitting on a ledge right out in the open, and with the park packed as it was for mardi gras, it's really suprizing that no one found it.
