Today was a quick one. Goodbye to kids and DD off to MCO to Ohare. So much fun had.
Here is some random again
We’ve been on DWarf several times. Who decided that those carved seats would accommodate the average guest? I feel for those taller than me
This sandwich is from Sunshine Seasons. Takes the entire plate. Easy to split with two. Also comes with a side salad. $10.49

Sunshine famous strawberry shortcake a day ago and then the horror of today.
With the hopes this is short lived This new cup is sliced strawberries and some type of jelly goop

O.k. So let me get this straight: you noticed that some of the mugs now are not dishwasher safe?! What is this--1950?Good grief.
This has been going on for a while...first it was the glassware, I bought juice glasses, tall kitchen glasses and mugs on different trips along with some plastic tumblers and lots of mugs. I love mugs.
I no longer have any of the glasses. The glass ones design faded quickly and turned to solid white globs of paint. The tumblers did well in the dishwasher but the design completely peeled off the first wash. So the tumblers were 'actually' dishwasher safe just not the Disney design.
The mugs are just annoying. They are marked 2 ways. Dishwasher safe or Not Dishwasher Safe. Worse are the ones with zip indication. The wording is in a small circle on the bottom of the mugs, just like the glassware. Disney price stickers are place directly over the words. After many lost drinkware incidents If it doesn't specifically state Dishwasher safe I don't purchase it. There is a tree of life mug my son loves....he still doesn't own. I picked up a 20th anniversary mug that specifically said NOT. We have many mugs that do well in the Dishwasher from Disney. Also many that have lost that enamel finish inside and out and are now a matte finish, not good for tea or coffee.
I like it. And find it depressing that I enjoy the 'extra' security if you know what I mean.
Oddly I've seen dramatically less security Pups this trip, a few but not nearly as many as last year.

So they place the price stickers over the words indicating whether the cups are dishwasher safe or not dishwasher safe?
I think my main beef, however, is with the high prices on the mugs--for those prices, there should be no issues at all.

Visited AoA today. Had 30 minutes to kill. Gondola report
And checked The strawberry shortcake is still a cup. I asked if it was a permanent change and the answer was yes however the face and voice delivery made it seem like she didn’t know and yes was the safe answer
It is perfectly fine but not in same league as the one it replaces nor worth the price and is difficult to eat that out of a disposable wine glass. It’s that small.

I know I wouldn’t pay that much for it now!
I’m hoping it is the crop tat was damaged in California cause this is like a chicken nugget replacing chicken tenders. So not the same. Meanwhile go to France. For a snack credit
