The one other new Spaceship Earth issue...

...after the refurb, most of the attention went to other parts of the ride...but one thing still bothers me every time I go on it...

I'll refer to it as the "Matrix" scene because literally there is no other way to describe it. I was listening to the SSE ride through music on one of the online radio sites the other day and even the music at that portion of the ride sounds quite similar to the Matrix theme song, with instrumental crescendos back and forth.

I don't understand why WDI decided to make a nearly exact copy of the Matrix. Even changing it to a blue color or something else would have taken away that obvious reference.

Yeah when I rode it as well I think it was from the matrix soundtrack, but IDK what was the purpose of it. At least the paper boy is back, even though he is turned around facing the wall.

I have never seen the Matrix so I can't comment.

I can say that I thought it was a great effect and the music was amazing as well.
