Thinking about starting Around the Resorts in 30 Days On Saturday or Sunday .... Thought I could start Sign up

Wanted to check if thats ok since the finale of The Apprentice is coming up. If not, it's ok. I'm not in a rush.
How 'bout after the finale. If that's ok.

I kind of want to start a competition of my own, but I'm not sure when there would be time in the schedule, or how I would make it unique. Any ideas?

Well, Sam and MR's contests are starting in the coming weeks, so I say create a new one after MR's ends.

Well if I may interject, why don't we keep track where people finish over the course of the year, with the highest overall finisher being the winner. Contestants would get the same number of points as the place in which they finished (1st gets one, 2nd gets two, etc) with the lowest total winning. Hosts of the comps would receive the average number of points plus one (for a ten person comp, the host would get six points [half of ten is five plus one is six]) that way no one would be penalized for hosting a competition. The big four events could even be worth double points. I'd be happy to keep track of the points as well!

I'm not really sure, but the premise of it is that for the first round, you just tell me an brief description of a resort you would build somewhere. Then each round, depending on how many people join, the players would describe another land/park/hotel or whatever I ask for. Sound good? If someone can help come up with a name, please share!

interesting... so hosting a comp would almost bring you down the rankings (to a higher score)? Is that what you meant?

I meant to say minus one, so you would get a score of four for a ten person challenge instead of six. And we could even offer the option that you got to drop your highest score, that way if the score you get in your own challenge is your highest score you can drop it and it doesn't count against you.

o_OYou can keep track of them if you like.:p Seriously though, if you have a blogger account, I can add you and you can keep track of points on the blog., or you could start a thread here and update it (while I update the blog). So many possibilities! :joyfull:
