A run on sentence involves a grouping of words that should be divided into separate sentences because there are too many thoughts contained within the single sentence and it therefore creates a jumbled mess of words in which punctuation becomes irrelevant due to the sheer volume of diverse topics and words that are expressed by the writer as he or she inappropriately attempts to express ideas without giving any consideration to the reader’s need to discern between the separate thoughts expressed within the single sentence and confusion therefore becomes inevitable within the mind of the aforementioned reader by the way have you ever noticed how hard it is to suck mashed potatoes through a straw?
