The Official January 2009 Trip Thread

Hi all! Please do correct me if I am wrong, but I couldn't find one of these so I thought I'd start one...

Do come and introduce yourself, tell us a little about your Disney history, where you're from and where you'll be staying in January - as well as any plans for extra magic that you may have!!

Boardwalk Villas!!!

We are heading down with our best friends, both of which are former cast members for the first week of January. I have been going to WDW since 1978 when my grandmother took me as a 3 year old out of the frigid Buffalo winter and I have been going back nearly every year since. I actually lost count between the couple trips in college and my college program. Not to mention the countless weekend trips when I ended up in Tampa. My wife grew up in South Florida and is also a Disney-ite. Met her in Tampa and we made a few trips to WDW together while dating. (actually to hang out with the couple we are going with in January who I met in college in NC and I did the college program with my best friend, who married my other friend and then moved to Orlando to work at WDW...got it???) We actually got engaged on the beach at the Poly! We moved up here to Memphis from Tampa so we haven't been to WDW since June '07 and cannot wait!

We got together a few weeks ago and had a planning party. We went through all the EMH days, the historical trends, where we wanted to dine, etc. and planned out the whole vacation over some adult beverages...good times!

We are heading down the week of January 25-31. The entire family is going me, DH, DS(4), DS(2), Grandmom, Pop-pop, sis, BIL, newphew (1 1/2). We will be staying at the BCV. Can't wait, only 130 days to go.

All Stars Movies

ME, Mom, Neice (10) & nephew (6) heading down January 24th to the 31st!! Can wait, we've placed all our sit down meals and which day/days for each park. We started this tradition of going every jan just the 4 of us!! I can't wait for hoopdeedoo and the new t-rex!!! January is truly our favorite time.

All Star Movies

We will be staying at All Star Movies from January 8-19 2009. There will be 4 of us going, Me, DW, DS(10), DD(4). This is our 12th trip to WDW, since our Honeymoon in 1997.
We are so excited to be going on our first January trip!:sohappy:

All Star Movies & OKW

We (me and DD6) will be there January 13-25th. The 13th & 14th @ All Star Movies and 15th-25th @ Old Key West. Got a deal on plane tickets, if I left a day earlier and somehow that ended up leading to another. Always trying to extend my Disney vacation!

We are driving from Northern VA and staying offsite January 10 -18. I've lost track how many trips we've done. It will be me, my hubby and son (22). (His first trip, he was 8 months old). We always drive as we like having our car to get around Orlando. We have booked one Character Breakfast and one Character dinner. We like mainly leaving our days open because we never know where we'll be on any given day or time. Our last trip was in February and since we got annual passes, this year we are going a little earlier in January.
