i've met up with Barnum a few times... needless to say, I think i've scared him

SUCCESS!!!
Hate to bust your bubble old bean, but as I said, that driving style is not out of the ordinary over here. Just don't try it in a city centre.

BTW Barnum had better have been to the Adventurers Club.
I admit up front that I did not make it there. It was on the agenda, but gave way to fatigue.

You will just have to take me there in person ;)

In that case do any of you chaps fancy popping round to my house and we'll take afternoon tea on the terrace, I'm sure I can ask my butler to do scones with clotted cream and jam. Afterwards we could have a jolly fun game of tennis!! :animwink:
Forget scones - I'm more of a crumpet fan :D

Welcome back Barnum!!!! Hope you don't mind us discussing you while you were gone!
Not at all. I'm flattered. I tried to send some green your way for starting this thread, but it's not letting me at the moment.

But not tonight as I have to go to dinner round my mums house which sounds nice but isn't, as she is Hyacynth Bucket on acid!

Welcome Back Barnum!!! We really did miss you. Hope your WDW trip was wonderful. Gotta do a trip report, OK? You managed to squeeze in your trip right in the middle of two hurricanes. Jeanne is now passing over central Florida. You are very lucky. Glad you made it home safely.

I ran into Barnum at WDW last week and he didn't quite believe me about the "I miss Barnum" thread until I showed it to him. And he is every bit the English gentleman that you all think he is. Handsome, funny and smart as a whip. An excellent match for any young lady out there. ;) It was indeed an honour (I used the English spelling) and a privilege to have met him.

The trip was great. I have my trip report notes made during the week and will be compiling them into something that will hopefully be not too long or rambling.

I'm feeling really sorry for all the gang in Florida with these hurricanes. When I arrived back at Gatwick I overheard a bloke on the phone telling someone his Orlando flight had been cancelled that morning due to the weather. I certainly squeaked in between the two dates.

I forgot - how much did I agree to pay you for a good report?

I have to say it was great to meet up with your good self also - you are a delightful, fun chap and I thank you for the wonderful write up, almost bordering on the Dolly Levi I think

It's just a shame it was only on the last night we met up, but it was great meal (remind the name of the place) and just chilling out in the Boardwark lobby 'till two in the AM was a great way to wind down the trip.
