Being from the U.K. I thought that it looked like a T-bone looked it up and found this

Tenderloin

  • Although both steaks come from the same back muscle, between rib and sirloin, the Porterhouse contains more tenderloin, the most tender part of the loin, than the T-bone.
Location of Steak

  • The T-bone comes from the center of the short loin. The Porterhouse comes from one end of the short loin, which is larger.

    Hope this helps.

In the US, with regards to the USDA and their definition of the cuts, a t-bone and a porterhouse are the exact same thing, however a t-bone is cut 3/4" or less and a porterhouse 3/4" or more. That's all. Otherwise, exactly the same, from the exact same location in a cow.

Over all this restaurant was amazing from choosing what to eat and having it brought out to you while you sit and take in all the theming of the place. It only cost us a quick service tick our dining plan. Sweet.
