I think Tomorrowand Speedway should be removed. They could add 2 or 3 nice size rides in it's place. I can't understand why Disney has such a noisy, smelly ride taking up such a large amount of space in the park.
Agreed. While I think TL should always have an Autopia, I think the current area and layout of the TL Speedway is very inefficient. My concept is this... build a new building and track area between Space Mountain and the CoP (the old Skyway station has fallen into disrepair anyway).

If WDI were to convert to electric cars, the ride could turn into an indoor/outdoor, multilevel experience. On the inside of the building, you'd be driving the highways of Progress City at night... imagine driving your car on a futuristic overpass, and looking down upon Walt's city of the future. Think how cool the finale of World of Motion was, and just imagine that on a larger scale.

With an upgrade in technology, and something to look at, you'd have something that even I would queue up for. And a multilevel, indoor/outdoor track would allow a more efficient footprint than the current layout.

There's still a *lot* of available territory in the MK. The former 20,000K area is massive.

I do find it funny that DAK has not had a single vote.....although it just got EE, it was considered by many here to be a half-day park until EE opened.....
...

I find this interesting as well. I actually vacillated between DAK and MGM before settling on MGM. There are attractions at MK and EPCOT that need refurbing and the addition of occasional small new attractions and plussed older attractions is all either needs for a while. There's plenty to do at those two parks. I know I'm going to be done at DAK and MGM before my day is over and that's with two little ones in tow. I think the foundation for DAK is better, the overall quality of attractions higher, and its theming more immersive so I picked MGM. But I think a few family oriented rides would really round out the park. I'm not really sure why the park doesn't have family friendly Mulan and Tarzan rides of some sort.

I strongly agree with the general sentiment that several have expressed about MGM needing more filler or a better foundation. More things I can do with my kids after hitting Tower of Terror and RnR. I have mixed emotions about the three older shows (Beast, VotLM, and Indy). I like all of them, but they are a bit past their prime. As several have stated, Star Tours has almost gotten to the point of embarrasment. MGM really needs some TLC.

I wish WDC would bring back animated shorts, much like the Roger Rabbit shorts that were created in the early 90's (or the current Pixar shorts)...I think it would help keep older characters fresh....and it is a nice add-on to feature movies. If they did that (which is a major undertaking) I would love to see the "shorts" division operate out of MGM.....it would accomplish the posint of having an animation studio without diluting or duplicating the efforts of WDFA
This is actually a really good idea... I don't know if you knew this, but one of the major initiatives the new management is putting in place is a shorts program at WDFA. Pixar has been doing shorts for years and it's something they really want to do in Burbank; the first new short will probably debut with the "Robinsons" film next year.

It would be fantastic to see real animators return to Orlando. The interactive aspect there now is great, but the whole place just seems like a wasteland. Perhaps they could create a centralized hub from which guests could choose a traditional animated tour with "Return to Neverland", or instead see "Drawn to Animation" or view the interactive exhibits.
