The Next Disney Broadway Musical

So I was just wondering what poeple think disney's next Broadway Musical should be. I'm hoping for Mulan the Musical because they could do some really cool things with it like combine dance with martial arts

thats a terrible idea! Mulan had hardly any musical numbers in it and the ones that were in, well they were hardly show stopping.
I think the future of disney in broadway does not lie in remaking their features into broadway shows anymore, I think they'll go more with fresh idea's or maybe taking their orginal idea's and twisting them into new storys and new worlds like they did with "Twice charmed" on DCL.
I could maybe see Pocahontas working but that would still be quite a push.

Toy Story could be a pretty cool adaptation on Broadway. Big costumes, Giant toy figures rolling across the stage. It could be a fun musical for all ages. They would have to orchestrate some catchy tunes for the whole musical. I'm sure Randy Newman would score the whole thing.

An Up musical could be pretty cool, it was a touching movie that could translate well to stage.

i know they've already taken toy story and turned it into a mini musical for DCL, i dont know who did the songs for it (pretty sure it wasnt randy newman for this version anyway) but they weren't very good sadly. I'd like to see Princess and the frog fleshed out into a proper musical I think that has some real potential.

Nuff' said. Berlin got it, it was fantastic, that was ten years ago. It's way overdue for broadway.
