Imagineering Logo Competition

Last week it was announced that the Imagineering Logo Competition, would return this year. The competition is accepting submissions until December 26th. From December 27th to December 31st the community will vote on which logo they would like the community to be represented for the full year next year. So come on down, and give it a try
Imagineering Logo Competition Thread
Imagineering Hall of Fame 2016
This week the preliminary round of voting ended for the Imagineer Hall of Fame. We are now down to the final eight imagineers. If you go to the main thread you will be able to vote for which four Imagineers you would to see be inducted into the Imagineer Hall of Fame. You have until December 7th, 9:08 EST PM to vote.

Imagineering Events
This week saw the begging of the final Imagineering competition on the boards for this years, Eisner's Game. In the first round every contestant is working together to build a first. Set in the year 2466 Imagineers are set to design a travelling spaceship that within contains a Disney theme park. Within the group PM the three judges will decide who was not pulling their weight, and those Imagineers will be sent back to the past in elimination. For the final twist there's the Ender Award which is decided on which Imagineer does the highest quality of work. If an Imagineer receives the award then they will be aloud passage into the third round. This project is due on the 8th of December.
One Sentence Competition
The One Sentence continues throughout the month as @David2319 helms the final episode of the season. As a reminder anyone is allowed to compete, and you can submit at any time you like as long as it is before the due date. Currently imagineers are tasked to create a new miniland for Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris while incorporating the Rock'n'Rollercoaster into their plans in some way. It is actually due at 7 PM EST tonight, so if you would like submit an idea, you should get going

Here at the Imagineer's Workshop imagineers share their secrets and tips with others on how they were able to create something. Throughout the lifespan of this thread we have received tutorials on how to make nametags, blue prints, interactive maps, how to edit videos with a variety of programs, and more! So if you want advice on how to do something, or if you want to go ahead and show the Imagineers of this forum how you did something do so here!

That's not where you can vote for the final nominees. The final nominee vote is at the top of the actual Hall of Fame thread.

Yesterday was the last day of voting for 2017's Imagineering Forum logo, and we had a great turnout! It was close, but @MonorailRed has done it again! A bit different from the Dreamfinder Awards, we had the Lemon Tree Awards for the first time! However some were disappointed it was not clad in the proper attire of safari gear. Nethertheless the nominees were accounted for, and the people have voted!

The Eisner's Game has ended. And we now have a winner! Tied for fourth place were both @RMichael21 and @tcool123 , third place went to @Magic Feather , second place went to @spacemt354 , and finally the champion was @FigmentPigments with her great project

One Sentence Competition
Back again for the new year is The One Sentence for its third season now! It was started nearly four years ago by veteran imagineer @Turtle . It is now being hosted by relative newcomer @Pionmycake he has made a splash in the past One Sentences, and now he takes the reigns for the contest. We are all awaiting to see what he'll do with it, and if you still wish to sign up for the Once Sentence Competition you have until Friday the Thirteenth this January.
One Sentence Competition Season 3
The Creator Games : Project Revival
It begun last week, and the return of fan favorite competition, The Creator Games, is back! For this first challenge we have an interesting challenge, both teams were challenged to design a new land for any Disney Park around the world, inspired by the themes of "never-built" imagineering concepts. Team Baby Groot gave us Glacier Bay, and Team Drax gave us Port Mysterious. Overall both projects have good merits, but only one can win. As the reviews from @tcool123 and @IDInstitute it became clear, due to the level of exquisite detail, Team Baby Groot were declared the winners. We saw the goodbye of two competitors @Michel Lichand as he dropped out, and @Stark who has been banned from the forums. As we leave Session 1, we enter the second session, Ain't No River Country Wide Enough. Both teams are required to design a complete revival of the abandoned River Country water park, along with a refurbishment of the Fort Wilderness resort/campground area. For Team Baby Groot, as an advantage for winning, this round they get to choose a Disney IP from the last 5 years that Team Drax must somehow work into their concept. They have 24 hours to pick one or the advantage is void. We'll now have to wait till next week to see what these two teams have up there sleeves.

Redesigning Epcot
On a new take of the typical overhaul of fan favorite parks @Michel Lichand takes on a new and unique perspective on this topic. He has created a sort of satire of the rumor mill, I'm sure we're all familiar with on these boards through threads created by the Spirit, Marni, and various other insiders. He takes into account the little things such as new paint schemes and signs, and a new name of EPCOT. We have various threads that have been created by users on the "WDW Forums", and they range in the secret changes going at Epcot. From the replacement of Universe of Energy with something that moves quickly, but not a thrill ride; it may be connected to the casting calls of Project Tomorrow. There will be multiple new pavilions in both Future World and World Showcase, and something new for all the current pavilions throughout the park. Here's an official list we have obtained from our sources, and may I say they were various gracious to provide these leaks to us.
Energy = complete re-do
Wonders of Life = complete re-do
Mission Space = big update
Test Track = small update
The Seas = medium update
The Land = big update (not Soarin')
Imagination = complete re-do.
Innoventions = complete re-do.
Spaceship Earth = update.

And great newsletter!
Thank you space! The star actually took me a while. First to figure out what competitions happened this year, and then the harder thing to do to which was find a shape. Was going to be a lightbulb signaling ideas, but it was deformed so opted out of it. I think the star symbolizes how we're all stars in our own rights.
