I thought about this alot and I think I understand the lack of "classics" at the new disneyland:

It's just a theory but maybe disney is starting over and trying to make new "classics"? I know it's also about the budget but maybe they decided that almost no classic is being put in to start over? I mean, if they wanted to they could have gotten money for a classic!

I think they are trying to go back to Walt's kind of thinking.... This park is actually very similar to disneyland at opening!

I would like to hear your opinions!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly!

According to Hong Kong's local media, it is the only Disneyland that follow Walt Disney's original concept.

Plus, Hong Kong's another theme Park, Ocean Park, has rides that are quite similar to splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Well, I see what you are saying. But if they are trying to create new classics why not create new rides.
I can see the park being small like Walt's but why not some new rides? Especially in Fantasyland?
If they want to keep the budget down then keep the attractions to a minimum, but at least create new attractions.

I'm curious to see how the HK park will compete with Ocean Park. That park is huge and sits right on the side of a steep hill or mountain and it is gorgeous. People will definitely show up for the Disney factor, but anything after that is up to good rides and good shows.
