That's the "time out" building where bratty kids and their uncaring parents are taken so that they don't ruin everybody's good time. You get there by travelling through the city under Disney. I think you have to turn left past the Walmart and then walk for 8 blocks. :lookaroun

There is a similar island directly east of the Wilderness Lodge on Bay Lake that has an abandoned walkway and a few old shacks on it. What was that used for??

Are you referring to the old Discovery Island? A wildlife attraction from the 70s and 80s?
