I'm actually glad I heard about this special. I love The Muppets and look forward to the new material. Tapping Gaga is nothing different from the show's original premise that constantly drew upon celebrities of the day, even semi-controversial ones. She's a huge star that's turned out a number of popular albums (and despite her overbearing, bizarre "Mama Monster" persona, some of it is actually quite good electropop).

Her persona is to sell those records I guess, as for the music I think she actually has some good hits out there her newest single with r kelly seemed like a good throwback to the style of tina turner rather than gaga's david bowie inspired single applause!
