The Muppets go to WDW? What happened to that movie?

Well what did happen to that movie? In the Disney Mag someone asked and they said it hasn't been released to video or DVD? Why dont they? I thought it was a great movie. Every WDW fan should own it. So why hasn't Disney released it yet?:lookaroun anyone else agree that they should release it?

The best part of the whole movie is when Monster chases Snow White! Hes screaming "Snow White!! Snow White!!!" During parts in the movie! Its so funny.... Kermet ends up taking the wrong monorail to Disney Land. I wish they would release it... It was only on TV.

I haven't seen this, but really want to. I have hope they will release it to DVD or video. They recenlty released John Denver Rocky Montain High T.V Speical to DVD, along with all the other Time Life DVDs. (Did I mention that I own all of those, along with a DVD of the muppets on Ed Sullivin show?) I have high hopes they will soon.

I would really love to see it.

CEO, why did you say you would love a copy, then say you have it? I don't understand.

Because my dad has our home movies.. And lets just say.. I don't keep in touch ;)

I remember that special. I actually taped it back when it was on TV back in the 80s. It was actually very good. Fozzie telling jokes to all the Disney bears, Miss Piggy getting stuck in cement at the Chinese Theater, Gonzo and Camilla in the utilador, Kermit sna Raven-Seymone doing a duet of "Rainbow Connection"... yep, it was pretty good.

Somewhere I read that anything new Muppet/Disney won't happen. They thought that it would cost too much to build the franchise to younger audiences. I would guess anything that isn't already on DisneyDvd won't come out.

I have a copy on VHS. :D It is a great movie. It's fun to watch it now & realize how much has changed around WDW since they filmed it. Anyone know/remember what year it was filmed?

Don't forget the scene where Fozzie is in Frointerland telling bad Disney jokes for money so he can buy lunch(The Muppets don't have any with them...they just break into the park!), but of course Stantler and Waldorf are there heckling him so no one gives him any.

Then the Country Bears appear and start appluading at him and start throwing money at him^_^.

Aw man I loved this movie, I have it somewhere taped off of TV. Maybe I'll go find it. The thing that I didn't like though was that they made it seem like one big super-park. One minute they'd be at the Indy Stunt Show and then be like "Hey, let's go ride Big Thunder" and it's right there. But then again all shows/movies did this. Just like Boy Meets World, Full House, etc...

sorry to bring this back from the dead, but while i was searching for something else i found this old thread and read the entire thing, i never even heard of this movie til now, i NEED A copy now!!!! Someone please tell me they sell this by now??? If not can someone on these boards who has a clear and good copy of it send it me, i will pay you!!! please!! just email me

It is currently in post-production and editing at WDI, with Kermit as Editor and Miss Piggy as associate editor. Word is Fozzy has threatened to hold up release of the project if he isn't given a bigger cut of the gate, and has filed a grievance thru his legal counsel with Bears Local 626.
