The critically acclaimed and fan heralded The Muppets will be making its debut on Disney Blu-ray/DVD on March 20, 2012. It will be available as a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack, a 3-disc Wocka Wocka Value Pack which includes Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Download plus the downloadable soundtrack and single-disc DVD version.
We should have more details soon, but we have received a preliminary list of bonus features found with the Blu-ray edition of the film:

•Disney Intermission
•Scratching The Surface: A Hasty Examination of the Making of The Muppets
•Explaining Evil: The full Tex Richman song
•A Little Screen Test on the Way to the Read Through

•Audio commentary with Jason Segel, James Bobin, and Nicholas Stoller
•Easter eggs
At this point, there is no indication that The Muppets will support Disney’s Second Screen technology which allows viewers to access additional photos, videos and information on an Apple iPad or PC in sync with the movie at no additional cost.
On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, his brother Gary (Jason Segel) and Gary’s girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate.
