Good Morning Mouse Fans...Heres this Hatter asking more questions..:inlove:....Ok we all know about planning your pre trip vacation...What resort..what ADRS ( if any )...How much to take..etc..But do any of you have a Mouse plan when you get there..??...Example...Our first day or night ( depending on arrival time ) is always MK ( got to see that castle and smell the pixie dust ) ..My mouse plan starts on day 2..Checking my laminated matrix to see what parks deserve a early morning rope drop..( never ever done a AK rope drop ) ..Setting our alarm for that Stitch wake up call ( drives Mrs Hatter daft,DS loves it ) So each day we make a decision on what we call our Mouse plan..Theres one thing that doesn't affect our plan ( but would if we were on another vacation ) The weather..If it rains,so be it..:p...Mouse plan day two..( example ).. Alarm set for 6.30am..Food court breakfast 6.45am..Bus depot 7.15am..MK rope drop for 7.45am..Early lunch at either CHH or PB...etc..etc..You get the picture..So is there anyone out there that has a day to day attack ( oops,I mean plan ) of your vacation on the Mouse..:joyfull:

Have you spoken to @figmentfan423 ;)
Past going to MK on the first day and EPCOT on our day of return travel we are pretty fluid with where and when.We tend to do Disney for 4 days (one at each park) then SW/UNI/IAO/Shopping for the next 4 in whatever order seems best at the time. The remaining days are spent at Disney just doing whatever seems like a good idea that morning.
Having said all that we may be slightly different if we go in Sept/Oct next trip as we will have to be at MK for MNSSHP and might actually make a couple of ADR's  :jawdrop:

Yes we (I) have a plan for every day. Days we want to get up early for rope drop. Days we (they) want to sleep a little later and have a big breakfast. What park on what day e.g. Magic Kingdom arrival day, Animal Kingdom first full day etc. As I have stated my DW compares my planning to the Normandy Invasion, she says we should just have a loose, general sort of plan. That's when I reminder that General Custer had a loose/general sort of plan.

Ah...The old 10/4.....Over and out...Just heard on the radio there's a fender bender just off the Eye 24 North of Nashville on the 41 going into Clarksville..The road is packed with rubber duckies and there's bears in the air...So if anyone is out there on the 24. I'd make for the train station, and grab the last train to Clarksville ..Too much monkey in that quote..:joyfull:..

My mouse plan is set for our next trip. (21 days!) I usually make our plans based on park hours and what ADRs I can get, but I always save MK for our last few days. I know, madness!! Sacrilage! My time in MK is usually "clouded by nostalgia goggles" (I think they meant "sprinkled in pixie dust", but I digress) so I want to let that last as long as possible and take that magic with me. :)

Our plan is always Epcot for dinner at Rose and Crown the first night (usually fly in so don't get a chance to get to a park before just heading to Epcot). Then the next day is up early for MK all day. :)

It would definitely depend based on the number of days staying. With more days, I would easily plan a rest day between park visits so that my feet can heal and rest! I guess for the most part, my basic schedule goes like this: Day 1 is rest day. Day 2 is usually Epcot. Then MK on Day 3. Day 4 is Animal Kingdom and HS is always the last park on Day 5 and Day 6 is departure day. I bring this up because my last two trips were 6 day, 5 nights. Of course, if the weather isn't looking good or there are certain things I don't want to miss like a big sporting event, I'll alter my schedule. I never have the time or money to spend a 2nd day in the MK or Epcot but would love to, without a doubt!

We usually get there around 1PM rest for a while and go to MK on the evenings and follow a pre-made plan for all other parks. I plan park days based on crowd calendars and for each one I highlight some must-do's and where we'll eat (both TS and CS). Since we're there for a long time, we try to incorporate other things on our schedule like shopping, movie night and pool time. For our next trip we're staying for 23 days total and we have 5 days off, 2 full days and 3 half ones. We try to not overplan and we don't follow a touring plan per se, we hit all our favorites, have lunch, leave for a break and go back after nightfall and stay until park closing. It works well for us and makes it fell like a vacation and not a marathon.

Our Mouse Plan, is the same every year we always" always fly out on early a Thursday and return on a Saturday. I really wouldn't call it a plan more like a routine. We even do the parks in a routine start from the left and movie counter clockwise. We never said this is how we are going to attack the parks it's just something that happened.
Day of arrival is unpack relax.
Day 1 Ak with a TUSKER House ADR before rope drop
Day 2 Epcot late morning
Day 3 brake
Day 4 DHS
Day 5 MK With a CP ADR before rope drop
Day 6 brake
Day 7 MK
Day 8 MK
Departure day we,sleep in, check out have lunch and head to the airport.

I have the parks we plan to hit each day written down (based on the crowd calendar predictions), and the mornings are basically planned in my head and are similar to your examples. Just to get up at the appropriate early time each day to get ready to catch the bus at whatever time to get to the park for rope drop. Some ADRs and resort breaks are planned. We have one day that's MK in the morning, then DTD and Raglan Road for my big birthday dinner :D, and one resort day with only a late breakfast and dinner planned.

I'm planning on using the Unofficial Guide's touring plans pretty extensively, with some ad-libbing. So more of a skeleton plan. But I'd rather take it easy and make sure everyone has fun than worry about getting it all in - we can come back another time.

Oh, arrival day our flight doesn't get in until about 3pm, so I think after we check in we'll want to check out the resort a bit (POFQ), get dinner at the food court or walk over to Boatwrights if we can get a last minute ADR and we want to, and probably sample those famous Magic Cookie Bars on the walk back!
