What's the most obscure character you've seen at the parks? Have you ever ran into a random character where they might have not 'belonged'? Like for me, I've met Darkwing Duck (many, many years ago) in front of the Flower stand on Main Street or Chip and Dale in front of PoTC. Any more?

Nice pics Rob, I especially like Flounder. Hey PieBald, what is that in your avatar? It kind of looks like a work schedule...?

In 2000 I saw Roger Rabbit in Epcot. And also the same year Ariel as a human walking around MGM, in her blue dress.

I didn't realize Ariel ever walked around as a human! Does she still.

We took a pic and have an autograph of Wendy Darling! The only time i've ever seen her walking around (it was during the disney marathon last year).

The most obscure characters I've seen was in the Toontown Teardrop. We were gonna get on the train for Frontierland when we saw Launchpad,Sherrif,Prince John,Robin Hood,Baloo,Donald Duck,Pinnochio and someone else random. I think it was Friar Tuck.

I remember odd pairs when I was younger. I saw Alice and Tigger once holding hands. Goofy,Smee and Brer Fox by the castle, etc.

This past July my cousin and I saw a number of obscure characters in a mini-parade. I took a picture that has Launchpad and Prince John in it. We called it the C-character parade because the characters weren't A material, and they weren't quite B material either.

The female 'lead' from Atlantis, well after the movie had bombed at the box office.

I agree. Last time we were at WDW she was standing all alone at MGM. People were walking by saying,"Who is that?" I felt bad but, we knew who she was and took pics with her. We enjoyed Atlantis.

I am going to have to study on my characters before I go....

I don't think I would know half of the ones mentioned here (yes, I realize the ones from the 70's won't be there!!)

Love the pictures, MKT!

Was the picture of the birds from 3 Amigos (I can't remember their names...I'm at work!) taken on that bird day at DAK?

On my last trip a month ago, we saw Launchpad from Ducktales at the entrance to Animal Kingdom. I don't any one but us had any idea who he was...so sad.

yeah.. bird day 2001 or 2002. The red one is Panchito (from Mexico) and the green one is Jose Carioca (from Brazil)

When I was last in WDW in July of last year, the same thing happened.

Launchpad was standing at the entrance of AK, yet nobody knew who he was. People kept on calling him Donald...I felt really bad.

So, I took pictures with him and made sure to call him by his proper name. :)
