The monorail smell?

How come the monorail smells like they just unloaded a herd of rhinoceros? And does anyone else notice this?

I don't know, I guess its just me, but the smell on the monorail never bothered me much- I never even really thought about it. :veryconfu

Oh, well, I still love the monorail and it is absolutely without a doubt my favorite thing at WDW. Go figure.

I was on the monorail new years day to magic kingdom. Well, it smelled like a URINAL!? I think some partiers the night before had mistaken the monorail for their personal relief station!?

LOL!! EWWWW!!! :hurl: I dunno, last time I was at WDW, I caught a cold, so I really couldn't smell anything.... :brick:

It seems just like the circus..I always think of elephants. I thought it would just smell like that in the summer but I just returned and it smells like that in the winter too!!!

But it's okay, it's still fast transportation from the MK resorts. It's just part of the experience.

Call me crazy...but living in Michigan some days i wake up, go out side in the morning and i think of WDW, dunno why. And i also know when im getting anxious to go to the world. I start remembering the smell of the A/C's in the buses. Dunno why, thats like the greatest smell o me.

Yes , indeed its a rather odd odor, but I still am reminded of it every once in a while.My wife and I joke about it smelling like elephants. Maybe when we all go to sleep the animals from AK ride it too. I notcice the WDW TRANSPORTATION Buses smell this way too ! John

I can see where it would smell like dirty diapers especially after being in the same monorail car where a mother was changing her baby's diaper after the baby took a healthy (umm...errr...yeah!). My ex g/f and I were sitting on one side of the car and the mother and "stinky baby" were on the other side and let me tell you this.... when that diaper came off.... WOW!!!! My ex turned green in the face! :hurl:

Needless to say, we got off at the Ticket and Trans. Center and ran back to the Polynesian (where we were staying).

The funny part of all of this was when we got to the Polynesian, we saw the mother and baby get off the monorail at the Poly...
