The monorail goes switch switch switch

Not so nice weathter today, but I managed to catch a monorail being brought out from the barn area onto the resort line, and I took pictures and video of it... Enjoy by clicking here

Also, there was a bunch of new parking lot light things in the MK parking lot today.. I wonder what the deal is?

i actually got a glimpse of it a few weeks ago when our magic music days bus drove by it back there. It was awesome

Cool! Always wondered where the switch was that got the monorails from the outer loop to the inner loop. Never realized it was the same switch.

And if you ever do want to see the barn that they part the monorails and the steam trains, take the Magic behind our Steam Trains tour. They take the steam train from around toon town and back it into the barn. It's two stories, keep the monorails on top and the steam trains on the ground. Its really unique to see.

If you take the MAGIC OF DISNEY STEAM TRAINS tour you get to go IN the Monorail Garage!

You actually go in the ground level, the Train Garage, but right above that is the monorail garage. The track splits 8 ways and goes into garage doors up in the air. Also in that building is the bus maintenance garage. Pretty cool.

But whats even better is when you get to go up there as part of a CM only tours

As a monorail nut, I can honestly say that these pics and the videos truly made my weekend!

I wish I had my camera ready because when I was in the EPCOT parking lot...I saw the tractor on the beam

(No...not a TRACTOR BEAM...the little monorail tractor...on the monorail beam )

I've been several times over the last year and seen them out there, on different occassions. I guess just normal replacement.
