I just found out that the Miyuiki, The candy lady from EPCOT will be making an appearance at Asia Fest here in Fort Myers this weekend. I am kind of excited to have a piece of the World here :)

I love watching her! She is amazing!

I got to see her in January when there weren't a lot of kids around, so I spoke up to ask for an animal. I asked her what her favorite animal was to make, and she stopped looked up andwas speechless for a moment. She then made an amazing flamingo.

She is hidden gem of WS IMHO.

That's awesome! I just discovered Miyuki for the first time this summer, and thought she was amazing! I was very excited to get chosen - I asked for an elephant.

There's some cool videos on youtube of her, for those of you that have never seen her.

Is she the same woman who's been making the candy creations since the mid 80s? I adored her! My parents never let me eat the candy, though.

I love Miyuki, she's so talented and so funny to.

I've seen her so many times and I'm just floored by how creative and how fast she makes those animals out of "delicious candy, ah yummy, taste sweet".

Im learning Japanese in the evening so I'm always at the Japan Pavilion shopping and eating etc, and she is by far my favorite part.

I got a candy from a guy that used to do this at Epcot Center Japan in 1983. I am amazed that they still do that. I still remember not realizing it was Candy and holding on to it for like 2 hours after I got it. I was in line for World of Motion when someone told me it as candy. I licked it and to my surprise, I loved it. I just with I could remember what the guy made for me.

Miyuki appeared at a special event for my high school's anime club. She made candy by request that she doesn't usually make in the park including Pikachu, Hedwig, and a crazy skull with brains hanging out.
