Ah man I think I’m going to have to cave and buy the Autopia one too @SuddenStorm. I’m pretty sure I’ll regret it when they announce Autopia is going away in the next few years. They display and photograph really well. There’s a few more old school attraction posters that would look great in 3D like this. Hopefully they keep cranking em out. This piece checks so many of my Disneyland / Disney boxes.

I still haven’t scored the 70th anniversary spirit jersey in size small. :/

I would love to buy something from Disneyana.

Speaking of shirts I bought this one on my last trip. Only the second shirt I've ever purchased for myself from Disneyland so that says something. Unfortunately the XL was too big. Disney shirt sizes run a little big so I should have known better. Luckily my sister is at the park today and grabbed me a Large.

Only second shirt? What aren't willing and embarrassed to show that you're a Disneyland fan?

I have probably a dozen or so shirts I've bought over the last decade, I get a new one every visit.

Sweaters/shirts and towels themed to Grizzly River Run are at the shop next to it now, items look really nice actually and an employee told me they are new items.

Much better than the generic California merchandise.

Disney is having vloggers provide graphics for their merch now…?

I suppose that is better then just stealing their fan art / self made graphics like the ol’ days of yore….or just using AI.
But really …?

TWDC used to have a whole art department who produced designs and ideas specifically for merchandise.
Perhaps another department fallen to the wayside in these modern times.

Sign of the times…?
Are they truly that creatively bankrupt…?
Or just exploiting overeager fans willing to agree to their terms to get their work on a shirt…and make the job easier for the merch producers…?

He’s a designer by trade and worked with Disney before he ever started vlogging. He also mentioned that he was part of a team that worked with a team at Disney on these designs.

Speaking of GRR, one reason I think it’s my favorite ride at DCA is because it has an interesting layout that I don’t have memorized. Other than the lift hill and drop at the end, all the stuff in the middle just kind of blends together (minus the drop into the cave) as their really aren’t any notable scenes that or markers that grab your attention and I think that sort of works in the rides favor as you can kind of completely get lost in this forest/ river they created in the middle of Anaheim. Granted, the unpredictable nature of this ride has a lot to do with it. As does so much of our focus being on the water and hoping you dont get drenched + all the laughter. I think more than perhaps any attraction at the resort you are truly in the moment when riding. Only riding it a handful of times a year tops also keeps it fresh.
