With it being a New York Times Bestseller and all, I was wondering how many of you have read it. And if so, how you like it, etc.

I just saw the trailer for it, and it got me interested in reading it .. but was wondering if it's even worth reading (maybe I could just watch the movie :x).

I started reading it a while back, but did not finish it for a number of reasons.
One reason was just an extreme lack of time. :lol:
Second, the style of the author's writing seriously annoyed me. I know that authors are supposed to be descriptive in their writing, but there is certainly a limit to the amount that is necessary.
Maybe if I get time I'll try it again; but I think I will skip watching the movie version until that point in time.
