Has there ever been a documentary about the making of disney world? Or is there a website that documents it with construction photos and all that? Disneyland had its own weekly show, demonstrating the progress, but besides the modern marvels episode on wdw its tough to find anything about the construction or the progress of the planning and construction on disney world. Does anyone have anything?

We bought Modern Marvels - Walt Disney World (History Channel) a while ago during our trip to Disneyland. We watched this only once and couldn't remember the detail but as far as I remember they did a good job covering the high level stuff.

You want to dig out Project Florida. The version mostly in circulation shows construction upto September 1971.
