This might have been already posted but I wasnt able to find the answer...is Wishes replaced or is the memories show only on certain nights? Thanks
No, Wishes will still be performed. Think of this show as a "pre-show". I believe they said it will begin 20 minutes before Wishes.
BEST PRESHOW EVER!!!!! yea i like the fireworks right after Walts speech its a perfect blend of technology and sneaky transitioning
Is there a video of it? I missed the live broadcast lastnight.

Ok thanks. Sorry that this question has been so frequent
No problem! And welcome! The amount of info and posts on here is amazing, so don't ever worry about it.
Thanks, I should probably be the one welcoming you! :ROFLOL:
Whoa! I'm really excited to see that in April!
I hate to be pessimistic, but you have to wonder if that isn't the ultimate goal – create an "end of day" show that isn't nearly as expensive as the fireworks shows. TDO would literally save tens of thousands of dollars EVERY DAY if they replaced the fireworks show with something like this.
If they've cut Block Party Bash and Fantasmic, whose to say the fireworks show isn't next?
The fireworks behind the castle are an extremely iconic image, arguably the most iconic image of WDW there is. BPB and Fantasmic are not. If they took away a DHS parade entirely, most guests would be none the wiser and would not even know something was missing. But if there's one thing that people expect to see on their trip to Disney World, it's the Magic Kingdom fireworks. Guest Relations (and every other CM, from custodial to attractions) is/are bombarded with complaints when Tink doesn't fly due to weather concerns. That's a small part of the show, and usually can be seen the next night. If WDW got rid of MK's fireworks show any time in the near future, there would be legions of furious guests descending upon Guest Relations, and generally making the entire park an uncomfortable place.
I agree with you completely, and would even take it a step further. I do think that cutting out fireworks would undoubtedly affect their attendance and merchandise revenue. The whole point for starting to do fireworks at night in the first place was to keep people in the park the entire day (spending money). If you take away the fireworks show at Magic Kingdom, more people would leave to go to dinner and not come back.
And if they were even thinking about cutting down fireworks they wouldn't have invested in perimeter fireworks last year for Summer Nightastic. I heard something crazy like that doubles the cost of the show. I think Disney takes great pride in being pretty much the only place where you can see fireworks any night of the year.
I completely agree, but it wouldn't surprise me to see them eventually make this one combined show - cut the fireworks back considerably and do them in conjunction with the projection show. One show, 60% castle projection 40% fireworks. They would save thousands every day.
