The Magic Christmas Cracker.

Mmm, roast turkey, roast potatoes, sprouts, maple roasted parsnips, little sausages wrapped in bacon, cranberry jelly, followed by Christmas pudding and custard or mince pies with brandy butter (or both), or a trip to WDW and no reservation for lunch and have to eat chicken nuggets and fries. Not a hard decision (and I love my Christmas lunch), I will take WDW anytime!!

A Christmas cracker looks like a big tootsie roll, you pull the ends and it "cracks" when it opens there is a prize inside and usually a hat or crown of sorts. It is part of the Christmas tradition done at the end of the Christmas meal in the UK. I have seen them for sale in the US at Williams Sanoma Stores.
You can buy them in the states at all kinds of stores. I've gotten them at Marshalls and TJ Max. I've seen them in lots of specialty stores in the malls. I keep them in a Christmas basket to give guests as they leave. Depending on the price, they can have fairly decent little trinkets to junk. They are still pretty and can be used beside a place setting at dinner.
