Good Morning Everyone.Today I ask you which restaurant at WDW would you love to have your Xmas dinner at? And here's the bonus question. When you pull your Xmas cracker what surprise would you like to find in it.I would pick somewhere Ive never been, but hope to dine on my next visit.Artist Point at WL. And inside my cracker I find a ticket for one nights stay in the Cinderella castle suite.;)

A Christmas cracker looks like a big tootsie roll, you pull the ends and it "cracks" when it opens there is a prize inside and usually a hat or crown of sorts. It is part of the Christmas tradition done at the end of the Christmas meal in the UK. I have seen them for sale in the US at Williams Sanoma Stores.

Oh! Thanks for explaining! I'm over here in North Carolina picturing a saltine wearing a Santa hat...

Yes the US has many different Christmas traditions from those in the UK. Many of ours are regional or based on our heritage. One half of my heritage is Italian the other half is Native American so I’m Sioux-sillian, but I digress. Growing up there was Christmas Eve tradition on the Italian side of my family where seven different seafood dishes were served for dinner. On Christmas day the meal was always ravioli followed by prime rib, go figure.

I did have my sister make Figgie Pudding a couple years ago (she asked what I wanted her to bring and it's in a Christmas song but no one knew what it was before hand <Its more like a heavy bread>) but generaaly no Christmas pudding here either. Cookies, cake, pies for us here in the midwest US.

Thats a fantastic question Hatter. It wouldnt really matter to me where I ate at Disney on Xmas...beacuase I was at Disney with all my loved ones....It would probably be a signature....(no need to mention my favorite) but any would do. A night in the Castle would be amazing...Im also intrigued by the Dinner on the Tower of Terror Terrace..but we are also very big SYFY/Horror fans..

Well a Figgy ( correct spelling ) is like a Christmas pudding, except its filled with Figs, hence the name Figgy.;)
