Did the Living Seas ever have a ride in it? We have a book from 1990 I think and it looks like it did have a ride but we do not know? Thanks in advance

It was a great ride. After the movie, you took the hydrolators down to sea base alpha, where you boarded a sea cab. The sea cab took you through the huge tank, to the exhibit area. It was short, but sweat.

Actually, the Seacabs are still there it is just that they closed becuase of lack of attendance in the pavilian (it's doing much better now than before though) and also I heard there were safety problems because the cars had nothing to restrain guests.

But I heard though that the Seacabs may reopen when the final Finding Nemo phase is added to the pavilian.

What do you mean is Finding Nemo going to WDW? He is there doing meet and greets outside of the living seas.

No, they're just adding a couple of Finding Nemo themed exibits to the pavillion. There is a rumor though that a finding nemo ride might go in Disneyland California.

Yeah... in the old sub lagoon at Disneyland. Anything to see those subs going again!

WOuld you believe I totally skipped The Livign Seas when I went to Epcot last month? I just never cared for that pavillion much... even in the 80's. I always found it kinda boring. Only exhibits I kinda liked are the manatees and dolphins.

I really enjoy the pavilian but I almost never go to it.

I love the living seas! I'm a science teacher, so it goes with the job. I could watch the manatees, dolphins and fish all day. I didn't know they took out the SeaCabs though. I thought they were kind of neat. I haven't been since 2001 and I think they were still in. When did they remove them?

Once LS gets the budget it needs (if ever), the Sea Cabs will be brought back with potential Nemo character hollograms. . .

The Sea Cabs closed in early January 2002, I believe. I wish I remembered the exact date; I remember running past it not too long ago. . .

Since you are studying to be an elementary teacher, I thought you might like to change your quote of John 3:16 to reflect proper spelling, punctuation and capitalization:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

This is the King James Bible version.

Did you know that they do a Dolphin show at the LS. It is held in the viewing room that is round. First part of it is in one area in the back, where they feed the fish. Then down on one side near the front( if you are standing looking our of the entrance it is on the right side) they gave a Dolphin show. It was really neat. the Cm's stand on the outside and through hand signals the Dolphin's preform. I had never seen anything mention on all of the boards about this. I don't know if it had just started or not. This was in June.
