THE MOVIE IS THE SAME AS ALWAYS, AMAZING, But I didn't think it was very 3D lol, I had my glasses off 90% of the time. the 3D effect just darkened the movie to me. the theater goers i saw it with were also very quiet during the movie, i'm guessing this is because they already saw it so didn't laugh at any of the jokes they already heard. other than that its still the same legendary Film.

I saw the 3D Lion King tonight. The 3D effect was interesting for some scenes. I read about the conversion process beforehand, and I found it to be clever. In my theater, the colors did not seem muted. 2D is still my preferred movie viewing method, but, all in all, I'm glad I experienced it simply because it was fun to see one of my favorite movies on the big screen.

It was alright. I saw it at Downtown Disney and it was a packed show, people were lined up out the door to get into the theater. Everyone laughed at everything. The colors were fine for me, and the 3D effect was ok, it just added a depth really. It's the same movie, so not much in the way of "3D tricks," the cool 3D thing I noticed was when Scar jumped at the screen near the end. My friends debated if much of the rain was added for just this release.

The sound was too low in my opinion, I like to watch movies with a lot of bass. Also, it seems like a few seconds may have been cut from the middle of Be Prepared. No Morning Report.

Great to see on the big screen again.

3D was very good.

Theater was very full, lots of laughing, and some slight singing.

It was very fun to watch again!!

Down here, a line wrapped around the theatre for the showing of The Lion King 3D. The film is an amazing film, same as always. This film was not originally intended to ever be in 3D so nothing really pops out as one would regularly see in a new 3D film but there was a lot of depth to the film. Overall Disney did a great job with this version of The Lion King, they kept it along the lines of the original hence not adding The Morning Report.

People in my theatre were swaying along to the music, singing along, and even laughing, some people even recited some lines... However I also encountered the same problem with the sound, it seemed very low to me, I believed it to be an issue with the theatre, but I guess not.

Anyways I encourage those who haven't seen it yet, to see it, it is nice to reminisce this film that played a part of most of our childhoods.

I don't know if everyone is aware of this or not, but they've also released it in 2D at some theatres. When I saw the 2D listing I changed my whole groups plan and we went to the AMC instead Was definitely the best experience for my group since neither of my parents can really see the 3D that great, and personally I wasn't very interested in seeing it that way.

There was a very enthusiastic vibe pervading the theater during the showing I attended, too. It was a packed house. I observed some of the same reactions to the movie you did, the place was full of laughter, and everyone applauded at the end. It was one of the most enjoyable cinema experiences I've ever had. Such is the power of The Lion King!
