Soooo many attractions have come and gone during our 28 years of visiting WDW, Thank god some of the older and most loved still survive ( Haunted Mansion, Pirates,Spaceship Earth,Country Bears,Space Mountain etc) but the last attraction/ride I would hate to see "retire" is The Haunted Mansion...to me that is the essence of Disney...just a fantastic attraction and pure Walt Disney.

From each park:
MK: Any of the mountains, Haunted Mansion, PotC, Carousel of Progress (even though its future isn't looking to well :( ) it's a small world, and Peter Pan.
Epcot: Spaceship Earth. I already miss Horizons and world of motion enough :(
AK: Everest, Kilimanjaro safaris
DHS: Tower of Terror, Rock n Rollercoaster, Great Movie Ride.

I guess in a way retire can mean a few things. I mean I would like to see rock n roller coaster stay, but the ride was rock n roller coast starring Aerosmith specifically so they could change up and have a new band if and when appropriate, I now eagerly await that day ( and if it was ever Bon Jovi I would be able to die happy)

as for completely gone though the last ride I'd ever want to see go away completely is splash mountain, love the songs the sort and the little thrill factor at the end.

MK - Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, POTC, Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain
EPCOT - Spaceship Earth
DAK - Everest
DHS - Toy Story Mania, ToT and GMR

Now attractions I do wanna see disappear: Stitch's Great Escape, Backlot Tour, Primeval Whirl, IASW (I know I'll be hated on this but the Florida version doesn't do justice and the ride building could be used for something unique and also it isn't really a re-ridable ride)

I'd say CoP, because it's a Walt-ie. No other ride on property has his fingerprints all over it (ok, ok so they're very faded but, figure of speech).
I would also agree with HM and Splash Mountain, only if they keep it up to a decent standard.

I really had to think about this...what attractions...if removed...would take the absolute heart out of a park?
For me...
MK~ Jungle Cruise, POTC, HM
Epcot~Everything I loved is already gone! :( Probably Living With the Land
Studios~ GMR, TOT
AK~ Safari

There are favorites that I'd hate to see go but if they did they would not ruin the park.
MK=Haunted House or Splash Mtn.
HS= ToT or ARR
Epcot= Soarin' or Test Track
AK = EE

Gosh, this is a toughie for me but here's what would bum me out:

MK - Jungle Cruise, Mountains, PotC, HM, IASW, TTA and CoP
Epcot- Spaceship Earth, TT, and Living with the Land holds a special place in my heart
DHS - Star Tours, GMR, Muppet Vision, ToT
Animal Kingdom - Dinosaur, KS, and EE

Good riddance to:
Stitch and Backlot Tour. Such a waste of space.

My first thought was which 'classics' should always be a part of the parks. When I think 'classics', I think rides/attractions that have been there since the first year...maybe not Opening Day but close to that time...

MK: Haunted Mansion and WDW Railroad
Epcot: Spaceship Earth and The American Adventure (wish I could say the original Journey into the Imagination)
DHS: Great Movie Ride and The Magic of Disney Animation
AK: Festival of the Lion King and Kilimanjaro Safaris

If I considered all rides/attractions:

MK: HM & the Mountains
Epcot: same as above
DHS: RnR & ToT
AK: Tough to be a Bug

Magic Kingdom: Carousel of Progress - I remember when I was like 12, we rode that ride at least 6 times on our 5 day trip :D love that ride!
Epcot: I like Spaceship Earth, but I wouldn't be completely heartbroken if it left. Actually, I don't think there is a ride at Epcot that if it suddenly up and left I would be too heart broken over.
Disney Hollywood Studios: I'm torn between Star Tours and The Great Movie Ride. While I want Disney to change the script of The Great Movie Ride, I can't imagine Disney without it.
Animal Kingdom: I love love LOVE the Dinosaur ride (NOT the one that's in that dinky little amusement type ride place). I'm not sure why, but after riding that ride a good 50 times over the past few years, I still get nervous before going on LOL

Dinosaur scares the bejeezus out of me but it's still one of my favorite rides on property! So much fun.
