Was the Land pavillions area music changed in 2005?

The outside area music hasn't changed. (You can still hear Living with the Land if you listen closely. I heard it just the other day)

As Servo said, the exterior BGM is exactly the same as it was back in 1982. The original 1982 interior loop was changed with the pavilion refurb in 2005.

Was the interior loop prior to Soarin' the original? I thought it changed during the 1994 rehab.

Incidentally, when The Land first re-opened after Soarin' was put in, there was no interior area loop--just sound effects, like bird calls. Eventually, a loop similar to Soarin's was put in.

All Nemo, all the time.

Coral Reef might still have its original loop, though.

unfortunately. Not that Nemo music is bad, the old BGM was just so good.

True. It's a big blasting version of it, but it IS still The Living Seas theme. Cold comfort, but it helps.

I really wish they could have added a few Nemo things like Turtle Talk etc.for the kids and left the rest alone. I used to think Finding Nemo was a great movie but now I have trouble watching it because of what happened to the Living Seas.

I thought the 86 loop was still there, just played in the planters before you reach Nemo. It's much quieter. I know it was still there when the ride first opened in 2006. They could have changed it by now.

It was. The loop played various music about the sun and moon, reflecting the overall harvest theme. I like the Land we have now, don't get me wrong, but the '94 version was a deep symbiosis of theme, element, and music.

I have some slight differences in the playlist I've been compiling for a while now. Perhaps I'll pull this project off the shelf and finally finish it. I have all of the tracks plus a reference recording, so it's just a matter of finding time to complete it.

Now, if you really want to get some nice nature loops, I'd check out the after hours loop used at either the Wilderness Lodge or Kidani Village.
