If my only options were to go to WDW during Thanksgiving, XMas/NYs, 4th of July, Easter, Spring Break, MLK/Presidents weekend, I would never visit again. It is not a vacation at that point and worse than work.

Times like these that make me think they should dial back how many people are allowed in the parks at a time.. but if anything they would just keep adding more.

Spring Break isn't as bad as people assume. While there are crowds, not every school/college/preschool/etc are ALL on break during the exact same week. Some weeks are heavier than others, but you don't have a 7-day period where every educational institution on the planet is closed like the Chrismas - New Year's week.

I actually like Hell Week. Gone 3 times so far and I think there is an art to it. Disney at Christmas/New Years is awesome, and if you can plan your fast passes and etc, you can have a great experience. Keeping tabs of when and where the parades are is key to avoiding grid lock. Plan your fast passes for your favorites, use Apps to gauge wait times and duck into the least populated rides "country bears" and etc. Most of all, you need to be able to play little games in line and have trivia or something to pass the time. After going to the parks so many times, I don't think I would get as much enjoyment out of the vacation in total if I was able to ride Space Mountain and every ride 50 times.. it would take the fun out of it. The large crowds has made me appreciate the other things to do in Disney. It can be argued that there is a point where too many people is just too much, but its hard to beat partying in WDW on New Year's Eve.

looks like a nightmare/self-torture. imagine waiting hours for Ellen's Energy Edventure, only to realize the ride is not worth the wait. I just have to laugh out loud.
