Pre-Trip The "I'm so thankful this is actually happening" trip!!

I've never wrote a trip report, so hopefully I don't sound too dumb

So here's the background...I'm a 16 time vet to the "world", so I'm no stranger. I love WDW almost more than anything. When I'm there, I am the happiest person alive. However, my boyfriend (been together 3 years now), has never been....:eek::eek: I still can't believe it to this day. Therefore, we have been trying to plan a trip together for a little over a year now. Originally, I was going to surprise him for Christmas this year. I had the whole trip planned. Then.... life happened, and I was diagnosed with Stage I Ovarian Cancer. Funds became tight due to my treatments, and the surprise trip had to be cancelled :arghh:

About a month ago, we found out the cancer had spread and is now Stage 2....so radiation treatments start in the middle of January for me (sorry, this sounds morbid!! I'm totally positive about the experience, no worries :D). HOWEVER!!!! My lovely parents surprised us with a trip to WDW in early January to relax before I start my treatments (insert happiness here). I immediately started crying when I opened up our "early Christmas present" about a week ago, only to find two Magic Bands in the package! I am so beyond blessed to have the parents I do.

So here's the plan:
Who: Me (Elizabeth, 22) and my boyfriend (Brady, 23)
IMG_0839.JPG

When: January 3-9th, 2015
Where: Pop Century
Dinner reservations: BOG, Tokyo Dining, Via Napoli (thank goodness my mom knows my favorite places)
Lunch reservation at BOG as well

We are both so excited to be able to share this experience together!! I probably won't start on the report until we get home, but hopefully you all follow along :)

First, I'm sorry you have to go through cancer treatments. My little girl is a two times cancer survivor, so I know this is no fun.
I am delighted you are getting a chance to go back to WDW before starting radiation therapy, it will definitely help keep your spirits high (although they seem to be high already, you sound like a tough cookie!).
This picture of you two is just adorable! Have a great Christmas, and then a wonderful trip to the World!

Woman!! I am so excited for you! :) I just took my boyfriend for his first time last year and it was amazing! I will be at Pop Century too until January 5th for my 21st birthday. :) I hope you two have the most wonderful, magical time. Remember, laughter is the best medicine. You two look so happy and you better believe I'll be checking back on your trip report! This didn't sound stupid at all and was a very lovely story. Start your countdown now!
