So can I be a Shark?

I think we should have two big ones

and one little one...keep it simple.

Shark Tank and SA. Shark Tank is in the beginning of the year and SA in the summer.

Changes each year or so.

I was saying that I was going to start my comp in the beginning of the year...

IMO, the larger comps should rotate each year as well, giving more variety.

We don't need back to back to back contests. This board is much more then that.

I'm all for contests, but I don't want to see one end and then the next one pick back up.

Well if we are going to be making public declarations I would like to announce that from here on out I will only be participating as a judge in any contests. It is always fantastic working with you all, but I enjoy mentoring and judging much more.

Well if we are going to be making public declarations I would like to announce that from here on out I will only be participating as a judge in any contests. It is always fantastic working with you all, but I enjoy mentoring and judging much more.

I hope you don't intend on being a judge for every competition. No offense but the nice thing about the different competitions is the opinions that judges knick pick and how different judge respond to different focuses. If you judge every Comp it takes away the fun of it and every one will just focus on the aspects you like. Thus becoming boring. That like Simon judging American Idiol, X-Factor, The Voice, SO you think you can dance and every other show at the same time. It would be tiresome and annoy. I would push that people should be limited to being a host/judge of their own comp once a year and a judge for another comp once a year. It keeps it fresh.

Also, will those count towards the ICS rankings and for the elite 8? I hope so, because I was on the site earlier, and did some math and I ended up with 9th place

Oh, cool! I wasn't sure if there was supposed to be another thread for it.

Also, I was thinking if there are points, then maybe the sharks can give points instead of money to the presenters. But that would probably mean only one post per person so it doesn't get too big
