The House of the Future - Week 10

I love the idea but I am not sure the practicality. There’s a reason that ride never made the final product.

This land would have to be absolutely MASSIVE otherwise it’s 15 steps and the attractions over. The capacity on it would also be overwhelmingly low.
Maybe there’s a more practical solution to the issue? A FoP type attraction through the city? Maybe the Elephant is more of a spirit guide that flies you through the clouds?

A Tibetan Mythical Creature is known as the Wind Horse:

What if we had a launch coaster of guests riding a Wind Horse through Shambhala?

Maybe a whole menagerie of animals? I feel like it should be more than “ooo Dragon cool” but should have a lesson or a journey involved hence the spirit guide aspect.

Take Dash’s temple idea and craft an attraction around growth and willpower!
Like, we could have a spirit guide as we go through this temple, presented with dark visions in a test to see if we can be pure in spirit and character.

Great to see everyone on the same page so early. We've lost a day from the veto extension but I think we've more than made up that time. Here are my thoughts on the land -- I can describe it best with a map, so that's just what I made.

(Gray is backstage)

I suggest going all-out on the verticality. Four levels of the city, slowly working up a massive mountain facade Each level could be partially specialized: the 1st would be a gardens / naturalistic environment, possibly home to animals if @PerGron so chooses, the 2nd for shopping and dining, the 3rd for higher-scale dining and some attractions, and the fourth for our major e-ticket. The 3rd and 4th connect to backstage while the 1st and 2nd do not.

Guests enter the land from the Arctic Passage along the bridge shown in the concept art below. Along guests' left is a massive waterfall (meant to block views of the backstage) with magnificent views to welcoming all to the land.

At the top of the fourth story is a temple serving as the land icon (and the entrance to the main E-Ticket. To the left is a small archway in a similar architectural style to the archways in the image below, which connects to a floating island (in the same style as Pandora's) only thanks to the archway, there will be no intrusive vines. Guests may walk across this narrow and extended archway and defy the laws of gravity by looking out at the rest of the park atop this floating island observatory.

Thoughts? This is all very WIP, so things can be easily changed or moved around.

This is beautiful!!

I think that second bridge from the "island" can be connected to the mainland for more walking trails/ flat rides as I think we need more than 1 E-ticket in the whole land!

Good idea. Looking at it now, the map could use a bit more “natural” space.

For attractions, I’ve given both the 4th and 3rd backstage access, so we can have two e-tickets on each level linked to the backstage. I was just imagining the “main event” would be the central tallest building.

This is great!

To the animal point, on one hand, I feel it’d be kinda weird that we have animals in one land and not the others, plus I have a few solid ideas for this one.

On the other, the judges mentioned not wanting more animals on the podcast saying I’ve overdone them (disagree, but it was a complaint they made) so what do y’all think?
