To stimulate some more, ahem, Imagineering related discussion, I would like to propose the first Hogwart's Unofficial Intramural Challenge!

This challenge will not be officially graded, and we won't even be competing. I was just browsing on Disney's main web page when I came up with this challenge. Let's all together use the discussion board to brainstorm a concept as one big Hogwart's Family!!

The First Challenge is this: Design a themed table service restaurant for Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park!

So anyway, I have never actually been to Typhoon Lagoon, but I really love the theming and imaginary backstory of the water park. How can we best capture that into one themed 5-star restaurant?

Hmm..what if a fancy dining hall from an old fashioned 1920s cruiseliner got washed up to shore in the Typhoon and that becomes the restaurant?

The tropical setting surrounded by fancy yet weathered decor?

That's what I was thinking, but in a fancy dining room we could create like this

I don't see 5-star dining working at a water park, I feel like the bathing suits would ruin the atmosphere of fine dining.
