I prefer these.

But a huge part of my heart and soul is devoted to British-based steam locomotives. You show me an image of or describe a British steam locomotive, I can probably name it and even tell what railway company it severed and what region in the British Isles it worked in(Eastern Region, North-Eastern Region, Western Region, Midland Region).

British/Scottish steam is my favorite esp the LNR. I would die to take a trip on the Royal Scotsman for a few days. I actually collect model trains, generally European style, but they are harder to find in America.

Actually, that's the London and North Eastern Railway you're referring to, I don't think there's any other train on the London Necropolis Railway, that's gone and the London and South Western Railway doesn't serve it anymore. And are you sure you're referring to the right train? The Royal Scotsman is found on the West Coast Mainline, the mirroring mainline; East Coast Mainline; has the Flying Scotman.

And the Royal Scotsman didn't come from the LNER or any predeceasing railway company that formed the LNER, or The East Coast Mainline; that would be The Flying Scotsman; the Royal Scotsman came from the West Coast Mainline.
I should have been more clear.. Your right though, the LNER is know for the Flying Scotsman, btw is it out of it military black back to it's proper green yet? (She should do another world tour) I mean the Royal Scotsman as a side statement of something I would love to do.

The Flying Scotsman is also an express dating back to 1862, during the Great Northern Railway days. And yes, he is. Also, where do you think he should go? France, Germany, or Belgium?
