The House Cup: An Imagineering Competition - Discussion Thread

I've always dreamed of an UP ride with advanced AA reflecting the more new technology with face construction and skin textures! Could be fun considering the amount of human and non human characters! (Mr. Fredrickson, Russel, Doug, Kevin, etc.) I've always imagined a ride that was both a dark ride and an outside ride. I dunno, could be fun! Many different story lines to pursue! Kind of specific, so maybe a broader challenge idea like create an outdoor/indoor ride based on a movie disney hasn't majorly involved in the parks?

A couple of ideas that came to mind over my Taco Bell lunch:
  1. The ultimate hedge maze. For my fellow Disney History nerds, you may remember the original concepts for the Beastlie Kingdom in Animal Kingdom included the Quest for the Unicorn, which was to be an interactive maze with animatronics and such. Let's revive this idea! (If we don't use it for this competition, I may take this on as a personal project)
  2. Some sort of coaster/dark ride through a factory/industrial setting? Eh, this may be too vague.
  3. Give a temporary Star Wars overlay to a classic Disney ride.
  4. Combine two already existing Disney rides/attractions into one ride/attraction that highlights both! The more polar opposite the two attractions the better! For example, It's a Small World starring Aerosmith (Rock n Roller Coaster).

:hungry: taco tuesday!

Beastly Kingdom would be great! If you would like (and everyone is welcome if you all want a little project to work on in prep for The House Cup!) hope on over to the Walt Disney World 1966 thread

We are building a Fantasy Park and I actually asked for Beastly Kingdom to be put in because I think it's a neat idea!

So come on down! :D...http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/walt-disney-world-1966.911747/page-29#post-7165554
