The Haunted Mansion "ring"

So, how many of you have actually found the wedding ring stuck in the ground outside the Haunted Mansion exit? My family finally found it two months ago. Actually...my mom found it. We tried to take a picture of it, but people kept walking over it. Who else has actually seen it?

I finally found it only just a year ago. It's interesting but I'm not sure if it's meant to be there or if it's just a cawinkydink.

Many threads on this subject already but I have a pic of it somewhere. There are arguments about it because it really isn't a ring. It's a very small cut-off pole from where a gate used to be. If you look closely at the area there are several of them within equal distance from each other and they are very small. Too small to be a ring...unless its for a baby.

I've seen it on the bottom of the page, it's in someone's photo album. I've seen it myself, but never taken a picture.

I look for it every trip to the Haunted Mansion. In fact I saw it on Tuesday :) Its one of my favorite things to look for at WDW besides Hidden Mickeys of course.

By the way, for anyone who hasn't found it yet, if you go to Doombuggies.com, go to the message board and there's a thread in there with instructions on how to find it. ;)

Can anybody please post a picture or a link to one? Ive been looking for this for my last three trips! I cant never find it! I just got back yesterday, and here this thread is to taunt me !

Not only have I seen it, I proposed to my fiancee on that spot. We were leaving the ride and I got down on one knee to point it out to her, then casually reached into my pocket and pulled out the engagement ring. "Speaking of rings," I said....

The ring in the pavement has a jewel set into it, it's not just a round pipe. It seems pretty intentional to me, and not just an artifact of a removed gate.
