The Haunted Mansion news?

Has there been any news about the Haunted Mansion that Guillermo del Toro was gonna be doing or was last year at Comic Con the last time we heard any news?

I just looked at his IMDB page and it's listed as Projects in Development, so I'm hoping that's a good sign. I'm pretty sure he's gonna be at Comic Con this year, so I hope someone asks him.

I heard that the concept for the movie changed and that the working title went from Haunted Mansion to Crappy McQueue. Del Toro is struggling with this.

Last I heard the project is on hold while Del Toro works with other things first.

...I always thought the Eddie Murphy version was pretty funny I wouldn't mind a more serious version tho.

Del torro always seems to have a lot of projects on his plate, really hope he does crack on with this though, the idea of a true horror film based on the HM with del torro directing fills me with joy!
