Good Morning Everyone,Phew! Still getting over yesterday's thread and all the bad vibes about WDW.Now I love to hear others opinions, but certain things leave me scratching my head, example," the mouldy ceilings " ( gonna get me new specs as I'am missing out on those hidden mickeys ) But on that subject.I read about "Main st USA" getting a makeover.Wow.Last year on our first day,I stood at the bottom of the street and loved the new paint jobs on the shops, the gold trimmings, the bright blues and oranges on walls.I took lots of photos whilst walking up Main Street, admiring the bright colours, the smells from candy & coffee, the looks on children's faces with their parents and grand parents. Is this the happiest street ? I love walking towards ToT at HS also, but what is your favourite street in WDW and what memories do you have on that happiest street.?;)

YEA!!! on to happy thing. Sometimes I think you like yo make my brain work overtime. The happiest street to me is the worls showcase. It is just the perfect afternoon and evening for me. Strolling, shopping, learning something new every time, street performers not to mention the EATING and DRINKING followed by Illuminations. Main Street is a close second Classic Disney with so much more.

It would prolly be a tie between Main Street USA and Sunset Blvd. for me. I think that they are both special in their own way and love spending time walking down both streets taking in everything that they offer. This may be a little weird, but I also love walking down Commisary Lane and that little alley between The Muppet store, the Christmas shop, and Mama Melrose at DHS.

Does the street that runs through frontierland have a specific name? That is where I sat to watch Spectromagic for the first time (right to the side of Country Bears IIRC), and led up to Splash and Thunder mountain which were my two favorite rides during our first ever trip.

Riding the Red Car Trolley in Calf. Adventure. Second place is Main Street at either Dl or MK. I used to love DHS but the giant hat really killed off that walk's illusion of the past.

For me I love Main Street USA right before dark, at dusk. The lights start coming on and a lot of the CM's are out doing show like performances.

Secondly I think the little streets in the France and China pavillions are great as well. In France it really reminds me St. Remy de Provence, a town in southern France I spent time in, and in China it reminds me of the back roads between the Hutongs in Beijing, I enjoyed walking through.

I love the pathway leading through Adventureland because of Pirates. However, Main Street is just so awesome because it welcomes you back. The castle at the end and all the shops and smells of food. Great. Now, I'm ready to get in the car and drive 13 hours just to see it again.

Ah! Favorite Street is a bit bittersweet for me, because my true favorite doesn't really exist anymore...that would be the main path from the front gate of the Studios, heading towards the Chinese Theater, Unfortunately there's now a giant hat shaped eyesore in the way. :(

I have a lot of good memories of the excitement I used to feel as I entered the park. I even have a bunch of pictures I took wearing vintage 1940's outfits in the park.

My other favorite "street' is the bridge to Adventureland. Always the first place we would go at the end of Main Street. I always felt a little thrill of what awaits across the bridge...a kind of dangerous, exotic Adventure!

My very favorite Disney street, however would be in DL...that's the New Orleans street that winds in and out of the Land.

I love Hollywood Blvd! And Sunset Blvd! So very pretty and atmospheric, stylish even.

I've also got a thing for New York Street, which I really like, even if there isn't much to it.

World Drive is the long road that takes me across the Studios and the exit to EPCOT to the MK, so I love that one too.

But the mother of them all is Main Street. Nothing compares to it, still the fairest and happiest of them all. Surely there is no greater Disney experience than walking under the train station and seeing the castle loom in the distance!

Main Street USA for me! Yes, the smell, the trolley, the welcome song, the streets, the decor, the buildings....ALL of it. But...It's just the feeling I get when I walk down that street, so nostalgic, so sweet.

Main Street and also Sunset Blvd. I love Main St for the obvious reasons, being in the Mk and the excitement and the castle. I love Sunset too, I has great music, fun lighting at night, and it leads to one of my top three rides....Tower of Terror!
