More country bear jamboree laps for me!

Long live COP. hope it gets some love. It isn’t my favorite personally but i understand that many others do love it and it has important history. Not that I don’t like it.
I remember being so annoyed with COP the first time I went on it (mostly because my travel party was singing the song for the next three days but over the years I’ve grown to appreciate it.

I actually like CB(M)J but have to be cautious admitting that here! And, of course, the tiki room!
Yeah! Me too! I’m very glad the bears have a quality redo. Makes me hopeful for the future of redos and for test track. Tiki room is great too.
Hot take: think a lot of people don’t like new stuff and changes mainly because it isn’t what they rember and are nostalgic for and don’t like that change in such a treasured and memory filled place for them. People also have rose tinted glasses for many older stuff at the parks too. I have to be very careful saying this too though.

I can't remember, but is Grover Cleveland mentioned twice in the roll call of presidents in the show, or skipped over between Benjamin Harrison and William McKinley, since his name would have already been mentioned before Harrison? It's a little less awkward in that case because those presidents all died more than a century ago. Since the sitting president has a speaking part, they'll have to bring Trump up twice. It'll be interesting to see how that is done.

Or they could have a Muppets show in there. :joyfull:

He is not. He is mentioned once. (See HOP video where Grover Cleveland is introduced after Chester A. Arthur not Benjamin Harrison.) I would suspect the order of mention for 2025 - January 20, 2029 would be Barack Obama, Joseph Biden, Donald Trump. When a new President assumes office in 2029, the order will probably return to Barack Obama, Donald Trump, Joseph Biden, new President.

Also, for this 2025 refurbishment, think they won't use the original "45" Trump animatronic from 2016/2017, the head for that version (presumably originally built for Hilary Clinton) was sent to the Disney Archives for preservation in 2021 and was last seen this year at a touring Disney 100 thingy (pictured down here), that's 100% the old Trump because the teeth and eyes resembles that of the appearance of the animatronic for the president. I bet they'll use the existing body with a new, A1000-technology head placed onto it, similar to how the Joe Biden robot is just obama's body with a new head, as Biden had a different eye color compared to obama (obama's and Biden's bodies have the exact same body movements in the roll call). Since Trumps head and various backup/maintenance hands (one also at Disney 100 in 2023 was labeled as being "2016" and the fingers looked tall; thats probably one of obama's maintenance/replacement hands) were sent to the Archives, I believe obama's head was also sent to the archives following the conclusion of his presidency and Joe Biden's head will (probably) go to the Archives after January 20, 2025.

I think it would be awesome to do exactly that. Rizzo and Gonzo would be the perfect people to narrate the history while some of the muppets will have cameos in the film. At the end the muppets will meet the presidents before finally wishing everyone goodbye. A Muppet salute to the presidents. I think that could work.

Yes, let’s hope they spend the next 4 years developing a concept that won’t be as divisive as HoP.

I mean a while ago Lentesta did imply that the “great moments” concept, among other muppet ideas, was still being worked on, but who knows if that is still the case. Maybe we do get it.
I’ll ask Jim. My understanding was Disney+ as the easiest, fastest way to satisfy what the blog says about MV3D.

There are other Muppets concepts, such as Great Moments, being developed.

I actually thought it was great. Modernization without sacrificing the spirit of the attraction. It looks great and is super brisk and punchy. Huge win for me. I’d happily let that project team tackle Carousel of Progress with the Sherman song kept.
You keep your grubby little fingers off of Jean Shepherd!
