I’ll watch CoP twice instead.

Its funny, disney rethemes the stuff people want to stay and leaves the stuff people want Disney to change alone.
More country bear jamboree laps for me!I’ll watch CoP twice instead.
I actually like CB(M)J but have to be cautious admitting that here! And, of course, the tiki room!More country bear jamboree laps for me!
Long live COP. hope it gets some love. It isn’t my favorite personally but i understand that many others do love it and it has important history. Not that I don’t like it.
I remember being so annoyed with COP the first time I went on it (mostly because my travel party was singing the song for the next three days but over the years I’ve grown to appreciate it.More country bear jamboree laps for me!

Yeah! Me too! I’m very glad the bears have a quality redo. Makes me hopeful for the future of redos and for test track. Tiki room is great too.I actually like CB(M)J but have to be cautious admitting that here! And, of course, the tiki room!
Here's the statement from Disney on the refurbishment:
The Hall of Presidents will temporarily close for refurbishment on January 20, 2025, and is expected to reopen later in 2025.
Very vague. Probably by design.
He is not. He is mentioned once. (See HOP video where Grover Cleveland is introduced after Chester A. Arthur not Benjamin Harrison.) I would suspect the order of mention for 2025 - January 20, 2029 would be Barack Obama, Joseph Biden, Donald Trump. When a new President assumes office in 2029, the order will probably return to Barack Obama, Donald Trump, Joseph Biden, new President.I can't remember, but is Grover Cleveland mentioned twice in the roll call of presidents in the show, or skipped over between Benjamin Harrison and William McKinley, since his name would have already been mentioned before Harrison? It's a little less awkward in that case because those presidents all died more than a century ago. Since the sitting president has a speaking part, they'll have to bring Trump up twice. It'll be interesting to see how that is done.
Or they could have a Muppets show in there.
Assuming that HOP is still around in 2029…When a new President assumes office in 2029, the order will probably return to Barack Obama, Donald Trump, Joseph Biden, new President.
I think it would be awesome to do exactly that. Rizzo and Gonzo would be the perfect people to narrate the history while some of the muppets will have cameos in the film. At the end the muppets will meet the presidents before finally wishing everyone goodbye. A Muppet salute to the presidents. I think that could work.Or they could have a Muppets show in there.
You’re getting Gonzo and Pepe, and you’re gonna like it.Rizzo and Gonzo would be the perfect people to narrate the history while some of the muppets will have cameos in the film.
Yes, let’s hope they spend the next 4 years developing a concept that won’t be as divisive as HoP.I think it would be awesome to do exactly that. True.Assuming that HOP is still around in 2029…
I mean a while ago Lentesta did imply that the “great moments” concept, among other muppet ideas, was still being worked on, but who knows if that is still the case. Maybe we do get it.Yes, let’s hope they spend the next 4 years developing a concept that won’t be as divisive as HoP.
I’ll ask Jim. My understanding was Disney+ as the easiest, fastest way to satisfy what the blog says about MV3D.
There are other Muppets concepts, such as Great Moments, being developed.

You keep your grubby little fingers off of Jean Shepherd!I actually thought it was great. Modernization without sacrificing the spirit of the attraction. It looks great and is super brisk and punchy. Huge win for me. I’d happily let that project team tackle Carousel of Progress with the Sherman song kept.
Speaking of which, this is a good time of year to point this out:You keep your grubby little fingers off of Jean Shepard!
