Just returned from a 2 week vacation:

One week 11/11-11/18) at AKL Kidani,
then one week home in gray and cold NJ.

What i noticed, and wonder if other get the same.......The time in Disney went super slow. Its like i was there for a month. When i recalled things we've done a few days back, it felt like weeks.

I got home and the second week just flew by like they usually do.

SO, i guess i am wondering if anyone else gets this...slow Disney time. I'm super glad for it...makes my time there pretty darn awesome since it seems longer..

When we first arrive I look at all the time we have to look forward to and the plans weve made. Usually we book for 2 weeks trips. The first week usually goes by slow enough and I think about how much time we have to do everything. But once we move into that second week... time flies by soooo fast and then I'm looking at check out day and wonder where the time went.

We only go for a week or so at a time, but have the same experience. First half of the trip seems to go by pretty slowly. The second half flies.

When you're doing new things, time appears to be moving slower. Think of the first week at any new school. The first day at a new job goes horribly slow. Once you're used to your surroundings, time goes faster and faster.

We just go a day at a time, and we usually go for 2 weeks too. We have our whole itinerary lined up, but REFUSE to talk about anything but what we're doing on that particular day, so the time seems to go a lot slower for us by doing it that way.

Regards! Michaelson

Slowdown? I'll have what you're having. Every time I go there, I blink and it's over. 😬

Day one... real slow
Day two... slow
Day three... real-time
Day four... quick-time
Day five... whoosh!

Our last trip for Xmas of 2016 we were staying 8 nights. That first day I felt like we had forever there, thinking ahead to all the park visits we had coming up. So many days! Next thing you know we're packing up to come home.

I'd say the first 2-3 days felt slow and leisurely. By day 4 I was panicked that we were leaving soon!
